While we were there the internet was down and that was challenging until we found internet at the visitor information and other restaurants. Also the shower handle was broken and that was difficult. We ate at their restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were kind and apologetic about our two issues. I definitely would stay there again.

Out of season so no dinner availability and staff down to a minimum. BBC channels didn't work very well and the stairs are steep. However the room was spacious and those staff on duty were very friendly and helpful. We would use this hotel again.

The best place in Alderney

I had a very comfortable stay and would recommend this as the best place to stay in Alderney. Situated right in the center of St Anns it is convenient for the whole island and a 20 minute walk from the airport. When my return flight was cancelled they let me have the room back at a modest charge.

The bedrooms and the two staff were really great especially the gentleman doing the cooking and the lady on reception both of whom made us feel very welcome. However here comes the big butt! We were very disappointed and dismayed to find upon arrival that the dining room and bar are now closed and this along with the Chez next door also now shutdown left us very little to do when coming back after being out but to sit in our bedrooms. I feel at least we should have been told of this before we arrived and a token refund offered as it was plainly not what we expected when booking last year. We also found lots of the places in town where either shut on a monday or needed to be prebooked!

Excellent hôtel mais qui manque d’attention

Très bon séjour avec une chambre d’une excellente qualité et très très propre ! Petit déjeuner copieux - cependant aucun arrangement possible pour ceux qui doivent prendre le bateau tôt le matin… (c’est à dire avant 7h30) même pas la mise à disposition de fruits ou biscuits supplémentaires. Dommage. Par ailleurs réception peu disponible malgré un téléphone à disposition.
