This property was ideal for a group stay and had everything we needed. The interior is far superior to the exterior and the views from the back and three of the bedrooms is wonderful. We attended an event at Ragley Hall and were able to walk back to the property within 45 minutes which was ideal. ##### vicki P. We loved the large round dining table and the spacious sitting room with woodburner and wonderful views across open countryside. The bedrooms were also stylishly and tastefully decorated with lovely cotton bedding and we felt the house had a restful calm feel about it. The responsiveness of the host was excellent when we had a query. The short drive to Stratford on Avon was straightforward. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definately consider returning. Comfy beds. All amenities. Would be lovely all yr round. View was amazing. Lucky cleaners to get £160!! ##### Tracy C. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Kelly N. 20 Apr 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great stay! We wanted to enjoy the UK countryside for a few days, and this house is definitely in the countryside. The house met all of our needs and was well equipped. We loved the estate and sheep. It is a bit of a drive to the cotswolds (typically 45 min to each town). We enjoyed the hot tub and we’re allowed to walk the Ragley Estate. Fullers is an adorable market just around the corner. ##### Kelly N. The property was really nice with excellent views and facilities for adults and kids alike. The communication with the management was excellent as well, and a home made cake and wine waiting for us when we arrived was nice touch. The only downside was that the property has no gate to the drive at the front, meaning if you have a dog that likes "explore" you need to keep it on a lead as the garden wraps around to the front with no separation. Not sure if it's just in the process of being replaced but with a fast road and working farm outside meant we couldn't fully relax with the dog off the lead. Bit of a shame as it's an amazing garden space. All in all though a great place and great value for money. ##### Jez This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Lorna C. 2 Sept 2023 #### Good but spoilt by festival Ridgeway Farm is a large property with beautiful views. However the latter part of our holiday was spoilt by a large festival held on the Ragley Estate. We were not told about this on booking so were surprised when a stream of cars arrived down the side of the garden. Pollution and noise increased, our privacy was intruded on and the view was spoilt by tents, caravans and cars. Do your research before booking if you are looking for a peaceful holiday! Alison, the housekeeper was very responsive but we had far too many issues for a one week holiday. The blind fell down repeatedly in one of the bedrooms and we had to leave it closed because it couldn’t be fixed. One of the sinks was blocked on arrival - if this sink had been cleaned then I would have expected them to know about this before we arrived. There was also a strong chemical smell from the toilet downstairs. We were told this was the oil boiler. This is right next to the dining room so quite unpleasant. The main bedroom was very comfortable but the other beds were very soft mattresses and the other adult in our party found it uncomfortable. Ok for children. If you are looking for local walks from the door, this was difficult and there was no information provided on where you could walk. When we walked around the Ragley Estate we were told this wasn’t allowed but Alison was unsure where we could walk. The road at the front of the house is 50mph and doesn’t feel safe to walk on but there is a gate out the back to the Ragley Fields so it is very confusing where you can walk. Facilities within the house were great and it is well stocked with everything you could need. Unfortunately the internet went down just as we arrived and although they provided a back up it was very slow and unreliable for the duration of our stay. Looking up areas we could drive to for a local walk was very painful especially once the festival arrived and phone signal was rubbish too. In summary, we wouldn’t return to Ridgeway Farm but the area is beautiful and the views are as stunning as they look in the photos. ##### Lorna C. We made use of the hot tub and bbq, and Alison was perfect at communicating what we needed to do. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and the coffee and walnut cake was to die for! Thankyou to all the staff at bootable retreats for our lovely stay. We had our gorgeous granddaughter and our fur baby with us. The farmhouse is absolutely spectacular with the most wonderful views we’ve ever seen. The house had everything you need and we really enjoyed the cake and wine that was left for us on arrival. We would highly recommend this fantastic home and hope we can return again very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ##### Gemma F. The attention to detail is fantastic and it seemed that every decision the owners have made has been well thought through. There were 8 adults and lots of space for us to enjoy a social weekend. The BBQ and outdoor facilities were great and the hot tub is an added bonus. The views from the property are absolutely stunning and 3 out of the 4 bedrooms have this view. The exterior of the building doesn't quite match with the fabulous interior and facilities and views at the back of the property. The service we received was outstanding, particularly when we had a query and an emailed response was very quick. Certainly recommend a stay at this property, ##### vicki P. The house that we went to and rented for the weekend was brilliant very big and spacious and also had a bonus wood burner, hot tub which was great although it was therefore difficult to manage the temperature. Overall we had an amazing experience and I would recommend to any of my other friends. The house is beautifully furnished and the quality shines through. I had eight people staying for a weekend and there was ample parking and space inside to move around even on a wet weekend. A most enjoyable stay. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Rebecca Woodhead 24 Oct 2022 #### Fantastic stay! Amazing place to stay, quiet and beautiful views. Beds very soft, but had a good nights sleep. Hot tub took a bit of heating as it’s a wood heated one but once it was going, it was perfect! Thank you! ##### Rebecca Woodhead This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Julie T. 11 Sept 2022 #### Highly recommended A well stocked, immaculately clean house with stunning views. Used as a meeting point for a family weekend it had all that we needed. Comfortable beds, great hot tub and close to lots of great walks and places to eat. ##### Julie T. ## Expedia's Latest Trends ### Hotels > [The Coppid Beech Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Bracknell-Hotels-The-Coppid-Beech-Hotel.h3809.Hotel-Information) > > [Carden Park](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Chester-Hotels-Carden-Park.h190780.Hotel-Information) > > [Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Gatwick-Hotels-Hampton-By-Hilton-London-Gatwick-Airport.h7234788.Hotel-Information) > > [Hampton by Hilton London Stansted Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Stansted-Hotels-Hampton-By-Hilton-London-Stansted-Airport.h18464320.Hotel-Information) > > [Stratford Manor Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Stratford-Upon-Avon-Hotels-Stratford-Manor.h27936.Hotel-Information) > > [Ashford International Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Ashford-Hotels-Ashford-International-Hotel.h527123.Hotel-Information) > > [Retallack Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/St-Columb-Major-Hotels-Retallack-Resort.h4537229.Hotel-Information) > > [Bloc Hotel London Gatwick Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Gatwick-Hotels-Bloc-Hotel-London-Gatwick-Airport.h6594190.Hotel-Information) > > [Sand Bay Holiday Village](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Weston-Super-Mare-Hotels-Sand-Bay-Holiday-Village.h11443695.Hotel-Information) > > [St Michael's Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Falmouth-Hotels-St-Michaels-Resort.h2951426.Hotel-Information) > > [Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon by IHG](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Stratford-Upon-Avon-Hotels-Crowne-Plaza-Stratford-Upon-Avon.h11307.Hotel-Information) > > [Hilton London Gatwick Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Gatwick-Hotels-Hilton-London-Gatwick-Airport.h20753.Hotel-Information) > > [Norbreck Castle Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Blackpool-Hotels-Norbreck-Castle-Hotel.h6377.Hotel-Information) > > [Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Ashford-Hotels-Eastwell-Manor.h905662.Hotel-Information) > > [Camelot Castle Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Tintagel-Hotels-Camelot-Castle-Hotel.h8083111.Hotel-Information) > > [Hollins Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Shipley-Hotels-Hollins-Hall-Hotel.h63744.Hotel-Information) > > [Chesford Grange Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Kenilworth-Hotels-Chesford-Grange.h920291.Hotel-Information) > > [Grand Burstin Hotel Folkestone](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Folkestone-Hotels-Grand-Burstin-Hotel-Folkestone.h1201483.Hotel-Information) > > [The Mill Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Chester-Hotels-The-Mill-Hotel-Spa.h1695656.Hotel-Information) > > [Village Hotel Manchester Ashton](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Ashton-Under-Lyne-Hotels-Village-Hotel-Manchester-Ashton.h1848975.Hotel-Information) > > [The Winchester Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Winchester-Hotels-The-Winchester-Hotel-Spa.h26080.Hotel-Information) > > [Hilton at St George's Park, Burton Upon Trent](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Burton-On-Trent-Hotels-Hilton-At-St-Georges-Park.h5094740.Hotel-Information) > > [Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester, Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Manchester-Hotels-Radisson-Blu-Hotel-Manchester.h120016.Hotel-Information) > > [The Spa Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Royal-Tunbridge-Wells-Hotels-The-Spa-Hotel.h8849.Hotel-Information) > > [Hythe Imperial Hotel Spa & Golf](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Hythe-Hotels-Hythe-Imperial-Hotel-Spa-Golf.h9108.Hotel-Information) > > [The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Bakewell-Hotels-The-Rutland-Arms-Hotel.h792056.Hotel-Information) > > [Harbour Beach Club & Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Salcombe-Hotels-Harbour-Beach-Club-Hotel-Spa.h2261933.Hotel-Information) > > [Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa - Adults Only](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Newquay-Hotels-Fistral-Beach-Hotel-And-Spa-Adults-Only.h1895493.Hotel-Information) > > [Worcester Whitehouse](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Worcester-Hotels-Worcester-Whitehouse.h18498.Hotel-Information) > > [Cotswolds Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Chipping-Norton-Hotels-Cotswolds-Hotel-Spa.h13106835.Hotel-Information)
