"For a 3-star hotel, this was an incredibly lovely place to stay. It is quaint hotel with a lovely garden and a gorgeous dining room looking out at the garden. The bed was quite stiff (not like firm which is desirable) and strangely short. My husband's feet had to dangle beyond the bed. It is quite difficult to find and there is no sign outside. "
"This is our 5th stay at this hotel on our way to and from the Algarve/ Santander. In our last review we mentioned that the internet was slow- that has been corrected and it is now very good.

"Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood, close to many Portugal highlights. The hosts are truly amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. Very good breakfast in the owners' dining hall. It was very refreshing to dip into the pool on a hot afternoon.

Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive). "We Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything at the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and only wish we had more time to stay for a longer time. We had a villa which was incredibly lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location was in a quiet peaceful area but also close to the village in Alcobaça with all the cafes and shops. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit the area. "

"This hotel is a gem! The ladies in the front desk were so helpful and friendly. We had a suite for me and my husband and my 2 sons and the suite was good sized. The beds and linens were nice and the decor restful. Breakfast was delicious with fried cod, scrambled and boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses etc. The hotel is very modern in many respects as well. The sanctuary is about 3 minutes away and it was very convenient. Excellent dining options were nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!"
