Casa Sauchi with communal pool – newly renovated

The terraced house Casa Sauchi is located in a quiet complex in Gale, approx. 1 km from the beautiful beaches of Praia do Evarista, Praia do Castelo and Praia de Lourenco Beach. Casa Sauchi is a terraced house furnished in Portuguese style.
The accommodation
Casa Sauchi is a cosily furnished terraced house. On the ground floor, there is a large living room, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen.

The living room opens directly onto the terrace. On the first floor, you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms. Both bedrooms share a balcony.

Like all our holiday homes, it has satellite TV (all German-language channels and MEO TV (90 Portuguese channels, series and films, some in the original English language) and fast fibre optic internet.

Some of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The complex also has a swimming pool.

Lovely stay with a few minor issues.

We loved our stay at Casa Sauchi! The location is top. The swimming pool was great and the house itself had a good kitchen and the (bed)rooms were spacious enough. We also loved the BBQ and surroundings of the house. The beautiful beaches were on walking distance. Also a big plus. And although we had a great time here, there are some points for improvement. 1- Bidet and extractor hood didn't work on arrival and the guy who should have fixed it came a week before we left. Not the next day. As promised. He didn't fix the problems! The tap of the shower upstairs was constantly leaking. Needed to be fixed too. All in all: we had a fantastic time. But a our best tip is: Don't make promises you can't keep. That causes unnecessary frustration. But the big question is: we will consider coming back at Casa Sauchi: a big YES ❤️

Het huis ligt op het noorden, perfect voor de zomer maar blijft kil in de wintermaanden. Verwarmen met airco of elektrische kacheltjes is dan matig.De aanwezige open haard mochten we vanwege veiligheidsredenen níet gebruiken , en dat is jammer. Het contact met de eigenaar is goed, reageert heel snel en we konden gelijk een extra elektrisch kacheltje erbij krijgen , maar een extra trui helpt ook! Heel rustige buurt, strand op loopafstand.Heerlijke 4 weken gehad!

Was noch zu beachten ist:

Hallo an alle, die dieses Haus buchen wollen: Unser erster Eindruck. Das Haus ist vollgestellt mit Gegenständen aus einem oder zwei Nachlässen. Die einen mögen das, die anderen nicht. Die auf dem Bild sichtbare Terrasse ist der einzige Ort wo man draußen gemeinsam essen kann. Die Plastikstühle sind recht unbequem und alles muss entweder durch das Gitter oder per Tablett nach draußen. Zu weiteren Details, die nicht in der Beschreibung stehen: Die Reihenhäuser sind Rücken an Rücken gebaut. Das was man sieht ist auch das Haus. Der rückseitig gelegene Pool ist über die Straße zu erreichen. Küche: Viel Geschirr und viele Messer. Top Gasherd. Dunstabzugshaube wurde demontiert. Geschirrspüler arbeitet schlecht. Wohnzimmer: vollgestellt. Eine Schublade ist mir auseinander gefallen. Es sollten mal alle Lampen im EG und OG überprüft werden, ob die Leuchtmittel noch intakt sind. Wohnzimmer wirkt recht dunkel. Bad im EG. Recht klein. Kein Lüfter. Keine Spiegelbeleuchtung. Duschvorhang schließt nicht und Wasser läuft heraus. Bad im OG ist ok. Dusche ist im Bereich der Wanne mit Duschvorhang. Schlafzimmer I und II. Das eine Schlafzimmer ist ok. Im anderen ist das Bett recht schmal. Ich schätze 1,3m und die Matratze sollte ausgetauscht werden. Sie scheint recht alt zu sein. Die Federn sind einzeln spürbar. Unsere erwachsenen Kinder haben sich schlicht geweigert, dort zu schlafen. Auch ist die Kommode unter dem Spiegel schlicht auseinandergefallen.

Perfekte Lage für Strand (10Min) und Umgebung (Mitte Algarve). Ausstattung vorzüglich einschl. Netflix, Prime. Ansprechpartner vor Ort immer erreichbar. Gemeinschaftspool (1Min hinter dem Haus) nicht sehr einladend, da kein Schatten und keine Liegen!

Petit souci de chauffe eau mais résolu après le week-end et jour férié. Disponibilité au top de l'hôtesse et de la gérante de l'agence. Maison fraîche car à l'ombre tout l'après-midi donc pas besoin de la clim (non précisé dans l'annonce). Pression de l'eau faible dans la salle de bain à l'étage tuyauterie de la baignoire à revoir ainsi que les tiroirs de commodes cassés. Maison bien située dans résidence calme et entretenue. Nous avons apprécié le lit king size ! Bon équipement de cuisine + netflix. Bon séjour ! Je recommande !
