This apartment exceeded our expectations and was clean and comfortable for three adults and two children. The location is quiet and relaxing and just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, Praia de São Rafael. If you wish to visit the Old Town of Albufeira you will need transportation but we were fortunate enough to have a rental car. The apartment is fully equipped with laundry and everything you need to cook in the kitchen... except the food of course. It’s situated between two lovely beaches that can be accessed by foot or a short drive. The area is very quiet and the grounds are lush with floral vegetation. The pool is large and there are plenty of lounges around the pool. Our condo was exactly as shown in the photos. Even beach towels and umbrellas were available. The appliances were top notch and the view from the balcony of the ocean was spectular. The bed and pillows were super comfy. All the amenities were there to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Marco was both super patient and helpful when we couldn’t figure out how to use the washing machine and the safety box. One suggestion tho is to bring your own DVD’s and CD’s as the TV stations were mostly in Portuguese. We would highly recommend this condo and will consider returning here in future. ##### Sandra G. We didn’t have a car and walked to the marina (20 mins, steep hill on return) and into the old part of albufera (50 mins) each day. So a car isn’t needed as long as you are happy to walk a far bit. No public transit but plenty of Ubers. (5 euros into town). Beautiful beaches walking distance and restaurants on coastline. Local shop 15 min walk but bigger one in town. Owner very helpful allowed us to leave our luggage on the last day inside appt as taxi to collect us not til 5.30\. Used her suggestion of yellow fish taxi Co and extremely impressed with them. Finding the appartment is difficult in the dark as not that well signposted on the complex, taxi driver wouldn’t leave us until we had found it. Expect to find only coffee and tea. ##### mandy l.
