Villa Waikiki is a welcoming and functional holiday home, ideal for families or groups of friends seeking tranquillity and comfort in a quiet area of Albufeira, with easy access to the main attractions of the city. The living and dining area is spacious and bright, with direct access to the outdoor area, creating a pleasant space for relaxing and socialising throughout the day. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed en suite with shower, offering comfort and privacy, as well as a guest bathroom to support the common areas. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, served by a bathroom with shower, providing a well balanced and comfortable layout for guests. The kitchen is fully equipped, practical and functional, designed to make meal preparation easy during the stay. Outside, the villa features a pleasant deck with a private heatable pool (additional cost), an outdoor dining area, relaxation spaces and a barbecue, ideal for enjoying relaxed moments in good company. Villa Waikiki is located in the peaceful area of Caliços in Albufeira, close to supermarkets, the city centre, bars, restaurants and the beaches of the region. The changeover day for this property is Thursday (however, there may be flexibility in low season). If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated. This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost). Pool heating is always an added value for your holiday, especially when traveling with children. When the pool heating is activated, the water temperature will always be 5ºC to 8ºC higher than it would be without heating. Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed. Group deposit: € 200 per guest (payment by credit/debit card). The peaceful location allowed us to relax, yet it was just a short walk to the center of Albufeira for dining and shopping. Location slightly away from centre, 20 minute walk, however, this means it was nice and quiet. Only slight grumbles would be the air conditioning, which is on a motion sensor so you have to jump out of bed every five minutes at night otherwise the room gets unbearably warm and as mention in other reviews, the camera definitely seemed to be overlooking the pool area at times, it is certainly not only focused on the entrance gate. ##### Dean C. The delightful and colourful soft furnishings are no longer present, neither are the fluffy towels. The main upstairs bedroom now has a display cabinet covering an entire wall, including the side window.Pros: it's a nice villa, it's clean and in a quiet residential area, well equipped kitchen, close to supermarkets, pleasant walk to the centre of AlbufeiraCons: well-used, old and fraying towels and bedding, creaking beds, the security camera, lack of basic cleaning products, no curtains in the two double bedroomsFor a villa that is advertised with BBQ and heatable pool - it wasn't heated during our stay and the BBQ has seen better days (we didn't use it).The motion-triggered security camera was off-putting. Especially when it panned round to the sun-loungers and stayed in position long after any movement had been detected.We asked the property management company if the beds frames could be tightened, but nothing was done.We didn't need to use the air conditioning but it was impossible to turn off the motion sensor in the double bedrooms so they would beep in the night if we moved in our sleep.But, despite the villa's shortcomings, we had a nice holiday. ##### Rebecca S.
