Three generations: 12 adults and 8 children from 4 to 14\. The house is spacious,well equipped and conveniently located to ski areas. Check-in was seamless. David and Nicole were perfect hosts and very responsive to any question that arose. When we discovered a shortness of forks, I contacted David simply to give him a heads up since we were making do… but David decided to send an “emergency shipment”of forks… going above and beyond. When weather forecasts were worrisome on our departure day, David was flexible in granting us an hour later check-out time. This is an outstanding property in every respect! We are a family of 17 - 3 generations celebrating N 80th birthday- from a 5 month old infant (beautiful pack n play provided) and 8 other grandchildren ranging from 11-23\. Each of the 7 bedrooms were large and beautiful, the linens fresh and beds perfectly made. Thr entire house was meticulously clean. The kitchen spotless and well equipped with lovely dishes, glasses and cookware. The 2 large gathering areas had outstanding comfortable couches enough for seating people comfortably- the game tables were great and kept everyone happy! We loved the hot tub, outdoor swings and seating. The large screens TV’s super and WiFi excellent. The house is 3 minutes from the beach ##### Harriet M. Between the pool/beach/lake, the game room and all of the local activities, we always had plenty to do. I didn’t realize just how close the house is situated relative to the pool/beach/lake, making it a very easy walk. The house came with plenty of supplies and appliances. We communicated several times with the owners, before and throughout our stay, and they were very responsive and accommodating. Just a few small things to note for future guests: - There are only 8 passes to the community center, and they have people checking to make sure you’re wearing (not just in possession of) them on your wrist. - You cannot bring your own canoes/kayaks to the lake. - A lot of the places in the area are closed on Wednesdays. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better home for our family vacation! ##### Dan S. The house was very nice. There is even a spice rack you can use. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table and swing. Check out was easy with minimal required clean up. The pool is nice, though doesn’t allow floaties except floatation for people who can’t swim. The wave pool at Camel Beach outdoor water park was great and the lines for other rides were short on a 71 degree monday in late august. The escape room at Big Screen Escapes was a good bonding experience, but the room itself didn’t have very interesting puzzles. White water rafting with Jim Thorpe river adventures was fantastic on an extra high dam release day. They only have dam releases in certain weekends in the Lehigh River. Overall, highly recommend the house and area. ##### Heather R. The bedrooms are perfect for a large group. The games on the first level are fun, and the bottom patio is particularly appealing. I could have sat out there all day! We have owned and rented property ourselves, so we are perhaps, extra picky. Owners have little to no control over the job the cleaners do, but this house was not incredibly clean when we arrived. Crumbs and dirt in the kitchen cabinets where cookware is kept were unappealing. Using the wrong products on floors and surfaces makes them sticky, as was the case. The house is so beautiful and set up so well, but the furniture is uncomfortable, the couches in particular. We were never able to get the fireplace to come on, even after messaging with the owner. My husband and I loved the hot tub! But the rules? Way over the top. I'm sure the owners have had some bad experiences with short term renters, but don't take it out on those of us who follow the rules! Start a load of laundry? Really? Is this common...and how closeby are the owners if they want us to start a load of laundry?! Also, all of the signs about makeup removal only using the black washcloths? Soooooo....you're not going to worry about cleaning the black towels and washcloths because the dirt won't show? This is a great house, but it doesn't seem like one the owners are loving for their own use so much as for rental income, and it shows. ##### Pamela B. David and Nicole were fantastic!!! From the moment we booked Wolf Run Lodge we knew we were in great hands for our one week vacation with the family. The house was EXACTLY how it was described in the listing. Perfect location, immaculately clean and comfortable for our family of 10 (with extra bedrooms for more!). Ages were 3-64 and had space for everyone’s relaxation or fun!! Pool table, ping pong, games and of course popcorn machine !! Hot tub was relaxing after a long day at the beach or pool. The kitchen was so organized it wasn’t hard to find anything you needed. We even hired a chef for a night and she commented how wonderful the kitchen was to work in. The location was perfect, close to the pool, beach and playground. Day trips to Jim Thorpe train ride was easy to get to as well as Boulder Lake. Dave was extremely responsive during our entire trip. Whenever I had a question he was quick to reply and wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!!! Thanks Dave and Nicole!!! ##### Teresa F. It is exactly as advertised. Spotless!!!! We were 5 couples and had plenty of rooms to choose from, most with King size beds. The bedrooms were a nice size, the beds and pillows SO comfortable! Each bedroom has a beautiful view. We were not traveling with kids but I have to comment on the bunk bed room-- the bunk beds are full over full and looked brand new and perfect! Any age would be comfortable in these bunks, even an adult if necessary. The hosts even left a basket on each bed in the house that had towels and some toiletries - what a nice touch! The kitchen is fully stocked - the only thing missing is a keurig but there are 2 drip pots so we made fresh coffee - better than a keurig anyway! Large dining table that can fit 20 people. Comfortable living room couches with beautful TV. We didn't use the hot tub but we opened it to look at it and it must be on a timer because it was running, was super clean, and very hot! Lower level with game room was great. It had plenty of options as well as comfortable couches and TV. Perfect for Sunday football. I highly recommend this house!! ##### Adrienne L.
