You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. We are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy. Other Things to Note: ● The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund. ● This property can accommodate up to 10 guests per local regulations. Infants under 2 are not included in this count, allowing up to 3 additional infants beyond the maximum guest limit. DOG FEE: ● $75 per dog. All dogs must be vetted. We enjoyed Jim Thorpe 2 different day’s because it was so close and we explored hickory run state park, which was only 15-20 minutes away. They had everything we needed to cook dinner both nights. It was very easy to check in and the check out was super fast as well. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. The kids enjoyed fishing at the lake and the game room. We all enjoyed the clear night skies and bonus meteor shower that was visible from the deck. The only minor issue was the house being located in a gated community where members/check in personnel were not quite friendly/welcoming of STR guests. Otherwise we enjoyed a lot of quality family time and much needed rest and relaxation at the property. ##### Dawn B. Just far enough away, but not too far! There is wildlife everywhere. We watched a bear in the neighbors driveway rummaging through their trash. The fishing in the lakes was not good however. We had a fishing guide called Fish Fever Guide take us out on Beltzville lake and caught too many fish to count. If you’re looking to fish, I highly recommend looking that guy up, absolutely amazing experience! The kids really enjoyed the game room downstairs, there is not a shortage of activities to do while here. The house is nicely stocked with everything you’ll need too. ##### Kami S.
