"These rice fields were very therapeutic! It was nice to get out of the city and stay in one of the villas, giving us a remote feel for Bali. The single unit villa we stayed in was traditional and gave us a “true Balinese” taste of rural life. "I enjoyed my stay at this property. The gardens and feel down by the river are lovely, the food was very good. The spa is very expensive but our spa/massage ladies were great. I wasn't very impressed with our room. There was an issue with my expedia booking/confirmation stating I will receive a free massage. This didn't come through at their end but they honoured it regardless which we were thankful for. Overall despite enjoying our stay I feel the prices are too high compared to other places...

"We enjoyed our stay at Sentana Villa. The pool and the garden are great. The houses are lovely and have a lot of charme. Just the outside kitchen was a downside. It's not well equipped and the cooking was nearly impossible because everything is burning when using it. Therefore the pots and pans are not too good on the inside anymore. The street the villa is located is lovely and nearby is the Sayan Point (restaurant) we can highly recommend. "

"I really loved this property and hated to leave! Everything was wonderful. The property is so beautiful and serene. The staff were magnificent. Everyone we encountered was so professional and helpful and nice from the front desk staff to the staff in the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. Everyone always welcomed us with a greeting and a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from our room was amazing. The spa services were excellent! I highly recommend this resort and cannot wait to return soon with my family! "

"Beautiful property and pool. The staff is very kind and helpful. We were welcomed by Ayu at the reception. She's a trainee, but is very well skilled, speaks excellent English and extremely kind and welcoming. She gave us room 8203, a very nice room overlooking the pool and temple. Wayan the restaurant manager runs things smoothly and is great company. We had a lot of contact with him and he taught us a lot about Balinese culture and Bahasa. Then there's the bartender Wira, he has the friendliest smile, talks a lot and makes every cocktail you want. He is very tallented as well and is also a trainee. Every hotel needs a Wira at their bar! Septiana works in the restaurant and is a lot of fun. She entertaines the guests, serves everything you ask for and knows a lot about Ubud and where to go or not. Overall they have a lot of friendly tallented trainees like Ayu, Wira (Lola), Ari, Dewa and Rani. They made us feel right at home. They do have excellent staff to teach them. Murkanti, Garet, Gus Dwi and Septiana lead the hotel and restaurant excellent. Thanks to them we had a great time and will come back to this beautiful hotel."

"We loved this place so much and had the most relaxing time here. The villa is surrounded by plain rice fields with a nice pool and vibrant landscapes. The staff is genuinely friendly and ready to help. Food options are good and infused with Balinese culture. We were amazed to see so much details in the villa construction from natural lighting and ventilation inside to semi integrated outdoor showers with privacy in mind. They have continued to be sustainable by using glass water bottles instead of plastic bottles, wooden bins and jute slippers."

"We had a true 5 star experience at the Westin. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommadating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and also had lunch everyday at the pool and alll of the food was very fresh and tasty. "
