The hosts have thought of many ways a traveler can enjoy their journey. It’s easy to go to and from the condo and experience Akureyri. Our hosts were kind and friendly and we appreciated them immensely. The best parking is behind the building and a 30 second walk to the front door. Payment is required from 10am to 4pm and is easy to manage with an app which you download from the sign at the entrance. There is food and drink in every direction, walking and the Forest Lagoon (among many other sites) are minutes away by car. The hostel next door is very friendly for a coffee or snack and you have to forgive the loudest of their visitors—comes with the hostel culture, sometimes. (They mean well.)
