Enjoy lake living at the PLX Holiday House. We are located in a quaint, quiet peninsula community with its own small beach. Start your day with an amazing espresso or latte from the espresso machine and coffee maker. Kayak off the dock and explore the main chain of the Portage Lakes. Rent a pontoon from Dusty’s or bring your own boat and enjoy boating, tubing, and swimming at the swimming hole. Our home is very close to the speed zone for tubing and the swim zone for anchoring and swimming. The state park beach is a 5 minute drive. Take a visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame just 20 minutes away. Spend another day or two hiking or biking in Ohio’s only National Park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, less than 30 minutes away. There is a grocery store and many restaurants very close. End your day with a lakeside fire, s’mores, and watch the sunset on the back deck. Grab a pie from the local favorite Gardner Pie Company. Have a date night walking through the beautiful local vineyard and excellent restaurant, Gervasi. The neighborhood has its own golf course a comfortable 5 minute walk to scratch your golf itch.
The primary bedroom has an amazing lake view to wake up to. The secondary bedroom has a bunk bed with queen bottom and twin on top. It also has another twin bed with a separate twin trundle making 4 total beds in that room. Each bedroom has a full closet.
A pullout queen sleeper sofa makes a total of 6 beds. Two remodeled bathrooms each have a walk in shower. A stacked full size washer and dryer can be found in one of the bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for creating family meals at home. There is a gas BBQ grill for use on the back deck. Come and enjoy!
