My room's door did not have a seal at the bottom, so some light crept under the door (not typically an issue, since I use an eye-mask to keep light down), but this made any noise in the hallway noticeable, especially late at night. For instance, despite being three rooms away from it, I could hear when the ice machine was being used, and when housekeeping began to work in the hall in the morning, I could hear them quite clearly.

Overall, the stay was fine. But in the middle of the night, there was an altercation with screaming and yelling in the lobby. As my room was near the lobby, it woke me up and kept me up. I know that it was not the hotel's fault that these people caused such a disturbance, but I think the screaming and yelling lasted at least 1/2 hour, perhaps more. Security should have removed them from the building quicker, or called the police who could.

If you go to a concert at the Goodyear theater, you cannot beat the Hilton . It’s nice, and so close to the theater. Very walkable . Pretty much across a parking lot

The entire staff: front desk, those keeping coffee/tea stocked, and making sure the lobby areas were kept clean, were all very friendly and welcoming. I will absolutely stay here again. Great service!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Thomas at the front desk. He was extremely pleasant and helpful getting us checked in. In the evening the gentleman running the bar ( I’m so sorry I didn’t get a chance to ask his name) was extremely busy after our concert ended. He remained calm and very friendly as he managed to take care of about 25 customers. Very nice hotel and kind staff. Property is in nice condition and modern. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

My room was acceptable clean. Shower was nice but for very slick. The drawers in the bureau were hard to open and the ironing board was bent down on the bottom. The maid never checked on me and I caught her in the hall asked for toilet paper and she told me there was none in the building. The entrance was beautiful and the desk staff were very helpful. I ate several meals at the restaurant. The veggie burger was excellent as well as the fries. Caesar salad with chicken. Good but the shaved Parmesan was clumpy with the added chicken. Not dispersed well on the salad. Veggie primavera. Very nice.

Room was exactly what we expected. Clean and nice. However my one complaint is that after spending nearly $200 a night I do not expect to have to pay for breakfast. $10 a person for basically cereal and juice is a joke especially when the pool is closed. If an expected amenity is not available don’t ask me to pay for breakfast

Not worth the rate.
The pool and hot tub were closed even though there was no mention of it when I booked. The hotel was so noisy that we weren’t able to get any sleep. We paid extra for breakfast which was soggy French toast. Would recommend finding another hotel.

The only thing that happened during a winter storm was that elevators did not work. However, this did not affect us much since the hotel is only 4 floors high.

All was well with this property EXCEPT rooms are "refreshed" every 2 days. When our rom was due to be made up, the housekeeper made the bed and took the tip I had left. I had to go to the front desk for fresh towels (we had placed our used towels on the floor as is customary), soap & shampoo. Wastebaskets had not been emptied no had the coffee supplies. Quite disappointing when everything else had been so nice.

The all you can eat buffet was sort of a joke. There were a few pieces of soggy bacon and some eggs oatmeal look disgusting and everything else you had to buy? I've had much better free continental breakfast at hotels that I paid less today at

We had a nice stay and the room was absolutely fine. Our only complaint was that the bar was running out of multiple items we were interested in. The bartender was very apologetic and suggested alternatives.

Spent 4 nights there. Room was only cleaned once. The area has no nearby restaurants or fast food places. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Beds are pretty firm. Shower/tub floors are very slick with no mat or texturing. This is a problem with all Hilton Garden Inns I guess (I slipped in another one for the same reason and broke my hand).

Very nice hotel. Expansive lobby with very good restaurant/bar. Nice buffet or cooked to order breakfast available at a minimal price. Everything exceptionally clean. Great place to stay in Akron close to downtown theaters.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times. For the price that they are charging now I felt it was the average at best. We didn’t leave a tag outside of our door, but our towels never got refreshed, and our room never got cleaned. The bedding wasn’t put together with the comforter inside the duvet, and was kind of sloppily put on. We weighed in a really long time for the bartender to make our drinks and there wasn’t very many people up there. Felt it was not up to the standards. It used to be. Overall it was OK. We are not difficult people and didn’t feel like complaining was necessary as it was no big deal.
