Great location, perfect family house

The house was great for our week long trip to Akron! Comfortable and unique with a great pond in the back and close proximity to national parks. Dan was a great host and very communicative.

Another great stay!

We had a super stay at Dan’s house. We have stayed there many times. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is roomy and so comfortable. Dan is a great host, very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

Great cozy winter getaway

Dans house was a great winter escape. The house was clean and cozy in a great neighborhood of Akron. We enjoyed the fire place and espresso maker, and our puppy enjoyed running in the back yard. Thank you for the great stay.

Absolutely the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. The host was always available but not intrusive. Bedding and all the furniture were very comfortable. No one had a "bad bed". There is a very peaceful koi pond in the back that we weren't even expecting.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because if someone is looking for something fancy or modern this wouldn't be for them. But it would be a great place for a family or someone with a dog.

Great Place to Stay in Akron

The listing is very accurate. The livingroom, diningroom and kitchen are large and accommodating. The hot tub worked perfectly. The location was great to easily get to everything of interest in Akron. Highly recommend.

Perfect Central Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a clean comfortable house, centrally located between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Football Hall of Fame. Also close by was the national park. Key features were the quiet safe neighborhood and the fenced backyard for my dogs. Another plus was the fun and interesting Akron zoo.

Wonderful ambience within reach of sites in Akron

Our stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was well appointed, with a living room which made conversation easy. We enjoyed the fire in the stove, with an adequate supply of wood. The only negative is the bathroom in the Master Bedroom, which is quite tiny. One can almost turn around in the shower. Overall, we were very pleased with this property.

Great stay

We loved this house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 dogs. There was an amazing fenced in yard for the dogs. There was a hot tub and koi pond. The house was close to everything. We were in town to see our son and to go to a concert at Blossom. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Great, safe location

Dan was very communicative about everything. House is well-stocked, while we didn't use the hot tub, that was available as well. It was great having a laundry machines available. We will definitely try to rebook every time we come to visit family.

Wonderful stay for weekend hiking in Cuyahoga National.Park

Property was as described. A nice older home, very well kept. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around and admire all of the huge houses/manshions. The completely fenced in back yard was a huge selling point for us as we brought our two dogs. Very comfortable stay, would rent again if in the area. Dan was very nice and helpful, great communication.

Great Area for hikers!

The property was in a quiet area that felt very safe. Close to a gas station as well as several restaurants and shops. The home is spacious and having two bathrooms is a huge plus. The hot tub was perfect at the end of the day after hiking and we loved watching the koi and turtles in the backyard pond. The host was very attentive and responded quickly when we had a need or a question. We were grateful to have a full kitchen and gas grill to prepare the majority of our meals. Would definitely stay here again.Things to do nearby: Luigi's for pizza, hiking the numerous Cuyahoga trails (Ledges Trail & Brandywine Falls area a must see!) and there are plenty of Metro Parks. The Scenic Railroad tour was a great way to see the area and learn about it's history.
