"We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. We would have liked some coffee left in the cabinet at least for the first morning and the bedroom could use some hooks for clothes or coats. Otherwise it's well stocked with kitchenware etc. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area for coffee or wine and cheese. And it was a quick easy...

La terrasse couverte permet de profiter de l’extérieur tout en étant protégé de la pluie et du soleil. La piscine est parfaite avec un grand store pour se protéger du soleil, très appréciable en cas de canicule. Gisèle est une hôte adorable, d’une discrétion absolue mais toujours disponible et à l’écoute. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!"

"Property absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a month with friends and family. Everything you need for a self catering stay. Well thought out in everyway. Village in walking distance with a bakery and butchers. Market with local produce. Everybody so friendly in the local village. We tried talking some french which went down well! Supermarket 15 miles away with good selection. Lots to see and do around about. Will remember or French Getaway with fond memories."

A short walk up the hill brought us to a lovely village and church which was beautiful.Follow the yellow signs in the village for a lovely circular walk back to the property via a bar, shop and cafe."

"The house and pool are lovely. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Location terrific, right in the middle of town, but really quiet and peaceful with an amazing view. The outside kitchen and pool toys are a great addition. Don’t worry about the church bells they are only rung during normal hours so do not interfere with sleep. "My sister and I recently used this apartment as our home base while we spent a week exploring the villages near Sarlat. The apartment is within walking distance to the historic center of the village of Sarlat. We walked to the nearby boulangerie for fresh croissants each morning, and there is a large grocery store a few blocks north. "A comfortable and well equipped little house in a lovely village, ideally suited to explore the forest and surrounding countryside. Jacqueline made us very welcome and made sure we had all we needed for our break. She has wealth of knowledge about the attractions nearby and is happy to tell you all you need for your stay.
