Breakfast was lovely! Location was perfect. A little loud at night but minimal. Parking garage close by.. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We booked last minute and the room was perfect. The hotel is tiny, the room was tiny but we didn't care at all about the size because it was so comfortable, clean, warm, quiet and private. It was at the top of 3 flights of narrow stairs that were perhaps a little challenging with suitcases but it didn't matter, it was totally worth the effort, because the experience was so romantic. We spent a lot of time soaking in the little bathrub, a rather rare find in more modern, "convenient" hotels.
The breakfast was quite simply totally perfect.
We enjoyed being in the heart of Aix. The hotel was very quaint and typical European in style which is what we wanted. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The breakfast was great!
This property is excellently situated in Aix. It has an old charm about it that brings back happy memories of European hotels in the 1970’s. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was good. The staff was exceptional, helpful, friendly, and engaging. Air conditioning during the May 2026 heatwave kept us very cool. We would stay here again if ever we visit Aix again.
This was a tiny, perfect hotel, right out of a dream vacation for me. Great location and charming breakfast room. Very convenient to shopping and walking.
Lovely hotel in a very pretty street in Aix. Amazing service and very helpful staff - I had a change of plans and had to cancel one night on a non refundable booking and on requesting the extremely friendly staff, they agreed to refund my room charges back to me! Thank you for your kind understanding. I would love to come back and stay with you again! Regards Seema
Location, location, location, this is the great advantage of this hotel, located few feet away from place de Dauphin , walk everywhere in Aix old town. The bad no elevator, we had to carry the luggage up to the 3rd floor, the receptionist helped carry one and she struggled as well, so travel light if staying here. The room was tiny, with literally no place to open the luggage, we had to clear a desk from a lamp and other useless stuff to lay one of the luggage over it and be able to open it. The bathroom is as well impossibly small, the shower was an exercise in contortion, I’m 6.1, 230pds so may be it’s me, my wife as well, found it challenging. Good breakfast but you need to choose a time slot when to have it. If you choose a later one you may not find everything. Last but not least, it was warm and had to keep the A/C full blast to get the room barely cool, I’m not sure if the unit wasn’t working properly. Opening the window was not an option as bugs would come in. I do not recommend this hotel.
The room was charming and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean and well appointed, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was adorable and the breakfast choices were great. I would recommend this hotel to all.
Location:Excellent - The bed: excellent. The breakfast : excellent - The room was in the style of authentic French hotels - a bit small but more than adequate- the bath: excellent. I loved this place. It took me back to the 1970,s where all French hotels were flights of winding stairs. Highly recommended. An excellent value.
The staff was amazing—very helpful, warm and friendly. The breakfast was superb with everything you could possibly want. We hope to return the next time we are in Aix-en-Provence.
