We enjoyed our stay in Aix. The breakfast had a nice variety with a great selection of fresh fruit. The grapefruit was some of the best I have ever tasted! The staff are friendly and helpful. The room lighting is not great with the drapes closed which is necessary as the rooms are accessed from a shared covered balcony and other guest can see directly into the room when walking past. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower had great pressure which we also appreciated. Visiting during July, we were happy to have functioning air conditioning in the room. The hotel is a good affordable option for stays in Aix and has onsite parking. The historic center is quick car ride away (be sure to take in the huge Saturday market!) and it’s a great base for visiting Cassis, the Calanques, and Provence. One of our highlights was visiting Chateau La Coste.

Outskirts of the city center of Aix-en-Provence. 15 min to the main center by bus 4. Bus stop is 3 min away by foot. Plenty of parking spot free of charge. Staff were very nice and friendly speaking English. The building itself is dated. Rooms faced with outside corridor like a motel, however we couldn't hear outside noise. Room was not big with quite basic amenity (no safe and mini fridge, provided Nespresso machine), although pretty clean which is more important. AC didn't work enough well, but I should mention that we stayed at the record hottest day in summer. Overall good stay. Value for money considering with parking.

When we arrived by car it was midnight and the entrance gate was closed and locked. There was a phone next to the gate to call the front desk to open the gate it. The instruction was unclear and we couldn't be successful to call them. We were lucky another guest arrived who knows French and clled them so they came and open the gate.

Ho sempre scelto la catena Campanile per soggiornare in Europa ma questa struttura non è assolutamente all'altezza dei suoi 3 stelle. Scarsa pulizia, personale addetto a rifare le camere non istruito. Mancanza di asciugamani per il viso e cambio di quelli per doccia ad orari improbabili. Oltretutto siamo dovuti rientrare un giorno prima della scadenza del soggiorno per problemi familiari e non abbiamo ricevuto nessun rimborso. Personale in portineria non preparato per le evenienze. Mi dispiace ma per me non vale soggiornare più di una notte. Per me hotel da evitare. Mi dispiace

Le personnel est accueillant et prêt à aider mais malgré cela, je n’ai pas eu le fer à repasser et la planche qui devaient être à disposition (car il n’y a que deux fers et une planche pour tout l’hôtel). Notre chambre était à côté d’une chambre hors service pour problèmes de plomberie et une odeur putride remontait de notre salle de bains. L’hôtel était complet le soir de notre arrivée. Le lendemain ils nous ont proposé de changer de chambre mais pour un court séjour, c’était trop tard pour autant d’effort. Le coin armoire est mal éclairé. Sinon, patio très sympa, buffets en soirée et petit-déjeuner bien fournis, et pour ceux qui aiment la course à pied, un chemin au bord de la rivière à dix minutes.

Hôtel plutôt joli et bien entretenu, ce qui rend d’autant plus dommage les nombreux points négatifs rencontrés lors de notre séjour. Nous étions trois dans la chambre mais seulement deux serviettes étaient fournies. Il n’y avait également aucun savon dans la douche, ce qui est assez surprenant pour un hôtel. Le plus gros problème reste l’insonorisation, qui est quasiment inexistante. J’ai eu l’impression de partager la soirée de mes voisins : à minuit, j’entendais leur télévision comme si elle était dans notre chambre, et dès 7 h du matin, je pouvais suivre leurs conversations dans la salle de bain. On entend absolument tout. C’est vraiment dommage, car l’établissement est agréable visuellement, mais le manque de confort et d’attention aux détails a fortement nui à notre expérience.

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre communicante. La chambre était correcte, propre et fonctionnelle. La configuration communicante est pratique pour les familles. Le séjour s'est bien passé dans l'ensemble et a été conforme à nos attentes. Petit point d'amélioration : il serait appréciable que les tables soient nettoyées plus rapidement pendant le petit-déjeuner afin d'offrir un cadre plus agréable aux clients.
