After my one night stay at another place in the area on the way out, my expectations were low but were definitely exceeded. Fantastic views, a clean, spacious room, nice pool, good location and the friendly, helpful hosts made it a fabulous stay - it was just so easy and comfortable. The room was so clean, which is super important. The view is spectacular, which I could see from my bed, and the pool. A short walk to the town centre, with lots of restaurants, shops, the lagoon and a Woolies and close to the marina to catch the boat to the Great Barrier Reef tour. It is walking distance to the town (steep hill), but far enough away to remain quiet. It has nice views out to the harbour and a pool to cool off in. Check in/out was simple, communication was good.
