Whilst we were part way thought our stay elsewhere our transport out of Airlie was cancelled due to awful weather and we had become stuck with no accommodation for the next two nights so we contacted Scott on the off chance he could put us up again and he did everything he could to get us a room, with in 30 minutes we were there with somewhere to stay. There was absolutely nowhere to do that comfortably in my room. The ‘couch’ was part of a decades old outdoor furniture set, with the plastic cushions sliding all over the seats, and the seats sliding all over the floor. The remaining portion of the ancient outdoor setting was used on the balcony, with similar discomfort. Further to this, the outdoor balcony isn’t closed off from your neighbours; merely separated by a small, see-through piece of some kind of fabric. The lack of privacy was surprising, and not in a good way. I can’t complain about the cleanliness of the room though, and the beds were satisfactory, though. Has some sea and marina view from the apartment and you can see sun rising at the hill top.
