"I give this hotel 5 stars. It's not a 5-star hotel in the official hotel rating system. Not really. But it's a great place to stay on your way to somewhere else. I enjoyed it and I will be back. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, with enough space not to feel crowded. The breakfast was nice (continental). It's kid-friendly. Plenty of food options a short walk away. A lovely place overall."

"We had a wonderful stay, room small but comfy bed and perfectly adequate with everything we needed, would have liked a kettle, but not the end of the world, only one disabled parking space, which wasn’t available for our stay, but enough parking available. "Amazing hotel. We were wary having read some reviews (after we'd booked) especially regarding the friendliness of the staff and the language barrier. Our French is nowhere near good enough and we thought we'd struggle. We needn't have worried and should have paid more attention to the positive reviews. The hotel staff were incredibly polite and super friendly, they couldn't have done enough and even helped with our poor attempt at speaking their language. As for the hotel, the room was lovely. Everything you'd hope for from an historic chateau. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water every day. The pool was beautiful and very welcoming after our morning run. There were sun loungers around the pool and on a small patio area so you can enjoy the afternoon sun. The hotel restaurant looked lovely but we didn't plan ahead so they were fully booked. We ate locally at Chez Ninie and can definitely recommend it. Other than that, you would need to go into St Omer for dinner, although you are spoiled for choice in the centre. This is a superb hotel. We can't really fault it. We will definitely be returning. "

"Lovely hotel. Well priced bar. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. Room clean. Bed a bit on the hard side for our liking. Lovely view over the golf course. Not brilliantly signposted if you don’t know the company that owns the hotel’s name as this is the biggest part of the signs. You get to the golf car park, turn right out of the car park and there’s the hotel! "
