Great Aiken Stay

We were visiting family for Christmas and needed more space. This house was perfect - roomy with a good lay-out - open spaces to be together, but plenty of room to get away as well. Very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Great Place to Stay for the Masters

Nice, separated neighborhood, and the community pool was open. We just had guys, so the number of rooms mattered to us. Up to 5 there's no need to share a room, but one is on a pull-out couch. Would've been 5-star, but the place wasn't ready when we arrived. They fixed it pretty quickly, so we didn't lose much sleep time, but if we had arrived a few hours later, this would've had a big impact on our morning plans. The hosts made up for it with 150 toward dinner at the place of our choice.

House as described. Rooms were as expected.Had trouble with thermostat and keeping the house at temp. Garbage was filled to the prim and had force the other garbage to make room for our one bag. 0-2 responses from the host so that’s a big 0 and mainly the reason for lower rating

In Town for a Wedding

We flew in from Seattle for our daughter's wedding and spent the week enjoying this beautiful home. We were a group of 11 and the house did not feel crowded whatsoever. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the amenities were great. We loved having free time to spend at the community gym and pool. Communication with the owners was great, and they were quick in response. We would absolutely stay at this home again.

There were no fish clothes or towels, only half a roll of paper towels and two dishwasher pods. Hard to do dishes for 9 adults. Had to go buy our own - seems strange.

This place was perfect for six guys one of whom traveled with his wife. The Master was huge and there were enough beds for each to have his own with one on the Hide-a-bed.We came to play bicycle polo and the garage was perfect for assembling our bikes after flying across the country.I had the following issues, none of which were show stoppers, but should be addressed for future guests:-We arrived on a Friday and the garbage can was overflowing and parked at the curb. I moved it into the garage to prevent garbage from being scattered about in the wind.-the upstairs bathroom sink drained very slowly and needs to be unclogged.The kitchen sink had the strainer/stopper jambed into the garbage disposal hole rendering the garbage disposal unusable.-The dishwasher was full of wet dishes when we arrived and there was no dishwasher soap so I suspect it was run without soap. We bought a pack of pods, used what we needed and left the rest under the sink.-there was no wine opener/cork screw but we made do.-the maid service needed a little more attention to detail; doritoes under couch cushions, dirty tissues under hide-a-Bed, and used soap and shampoo containers in the bathroom.

Disappointed

Upon arrival at 4:30, the property had not been cleaned since the previous rental. Sheets and towels still I heap on each bedroom/bathroom. Floors, counters, appliances not cleaned. Contacted manager rep for Evolve and was told housekeeper on way. Did not get into the home until 7:30. Still was not cleaned properly.Floors not swept, wet towels, dirty frig to name a few. First time disappointed with a VRBO rental.
