"This is a superb place to stay, especially if travelling by motorcycle - and let's be honest, that's who they're aiming their business at. The owner and staff are just great, the food is incredible, and the outside seating area at the front is perfect to sit and chill out. There's covered bike parking on site with security cameras which is very reassuring. Ok, the room décor is a little dated and the beds aren't the comfiest you'll ever sleep in, but it's all very charming and honest. I'd come back in a heartbeat."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic stay — highly recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Seehotel Maria Laach. The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained, and the location overlooking Laacher See is outstanding. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. The included breakfast was amazing — a huge selection with all you can eat and drink, even champagne! Enjoying breakfast with the beautiful view of the lake made it even better. The restaurants on the property were also excellent, and everything we ate was delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a minor issue with one electrical outlet in our room not working, and the hotel went above and beyond by giving us complimentary parking and a bottle of champagne. That level of customer service was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. Five stars without hesitation. Beautiful property, excellent food, spotless and modern rooms, fantastic views, and genuinely friendly staff. We can’t say enough good things about our stay and would absolutely return!"

"Great apartment for our visit to Nürburgring. there was 2 adults and 1 child. It is about 10 mins drive to the viewing at Brunchen. and less than 15 minutes across a lovely road to Adenau. This is a quiet village without shops etc - this suited us. Very quiet location. The apartment mezzanine level has very low headroom, this was OK as the younger ones slept up top and older downstairs. Finding the actual apartment was not easy, a neighbour helped us. Some written instructions from the host would improve this. It was great value and comfortable."

"Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und konnten die zwei Nächte dort sehr genießen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die zentrale Lage und die herzliche und unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Ferienwohnung absolut weiterempfehlen!"

"Absolute Empfehlung für eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft!Sind aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus gekommen, haben jeden Tag neue Details entdeckt, die Scheune ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk!Was Komfort anbelangt, muss man zwar ein, zwei Augen zudrücken... sehr enge Wendeltreppe, außer der große Tisch keine Ablage-/Arbeitsflächen in der Küche, in oberem Schlafzimmer kleine "Stolperfalle", alle Räume sind ein wenig düster, Herd muss mit Holz befeuert werden... ...wobei eben das dann auch den Charme ausmacht. Der Lichteinfall aus unterschiedlichsten Richtungen setzt künstlerische Details passend in Szene! Fast fühlten wir uns in eine altertümliche "Burg" versetzt.Das absolute Highlight war für mich das große Bad mit hölzernem Waschzuber!Und wunderschön anzusehen ist das Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock mit Kirchenbank und Klavier, Rundfenster, Kronleuchter, verschiedene Spiegel sorgen für romantischen Lichteinfall!Hat man sich erst mal arrangiert mit den vorliegenden Gegebenheiten, ist es ein absolutes Erlebnis!Auch beim Rundgang ums Haus gibt es vieles zu bestaunen, Orangerie, Garten, schmiedeeiserne Kunst...Menschen, die es penibel sauber und ordentlich haben möchten, sind hier vielleicht etwas überfordert, aber alle, die besonders ungewöhnliche Locations zur Übernachtung suchen, werden hier fündig!!!Die Betten sind übrigens mega bequem!Unser Dank geht an Ronny, der als Host beste Arbeit leistet, jederzeit erreichbar, Check-in und Kommunikation völlig unkompliziert !!!"

Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr

"We were given an upgrade and the room was very nice, although the cost was very high at £180+ , which we assumed was due to the time of year. It was part of an 8 day trip which included 5 hotels and this was almost double the cost of the other, good quality hotels. The hotel and amenities are excellent and I would have awarded a higher rating for the ambience……however we were very disappointed with the set meal at £69 per head. We had invited my husbands mother to join us and felt that it wasn’t value for money. The bar was suffering from staff sickness and service was slow…..but the head barman was very good and apologetic for any inconvenience. Overall a very nice hotel, but expensive."
