"Great place for hosting large groups. Lots of beds, lots of space, and lots of things to do, though some things could use some attention to detail and TLC. We did find that some things were broken or missing, however our enjoyment of our stay was not hindered, and we had a blast. The host was very responsive to the issues we found and bought us items (minifridge, helmets, darts, brooms) to replace the missing/broken ones and sent repairmen to help assess appliance/plumbing issues, so that was very much appreciated.It was very handy to have double sets of appliances (ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, washer/dryers) so that was a great touch! Beautiful area, you can walk down the beach for a long ways and not encounter a soul, and there appear to be some bald eagles nesting very close to the house.Plenty of space in the house for our group, we had 16 people and 1 dog. I can imagine having more people than that, even though they fit, might be difficult with only 4 bathrooms, but it worked well for our size group. Little awkward that one bedroom is only accessed through another bedroom, but we made it work. There is no shortage of things to keep people many people busy, and it's close to Algoma and Sturgeon Bay, and also not too long of a drive to some great state parks."

"We had two great night's sleep!!! The room was modest and a bit tired. It was also clean. No carpet, no pets,Yay!! The WiFi was blazing fast. Nice hot water! Mini fridge worked great. The staff was nice and attentive."

"We had a family of 9 stay there for 4 nights. The town is quiet, people super friendly and the beach was beautiful. The house was a great size for our family, in that everyone could spread out and relax without tripping on each other. The backyard was great. The house was large and overall clean, but it definitely needs some maintenance. One of the upstairs fans does not work, a few windows have broken mechanics and the handle came off the screen door as we were checking out, but slid back on. It is a nice house that has had some areas updated. Overall, we would stay again if we are in the area. The house was well stocked for a family with games, chairs, kitchen materials, etc. My family loved the pool table, badminton net and piano! Nice large house with character. The small issues are due to no one living inside full time. All small minor fixer upper things that are not noticed unless you are living there. Beds were comfortable! AC worked great. The big windows with the view to the lake was beautiful!"
