The breakfast had a sumptuous spread and had dishes from different parts of India and the service was above average. The rooms ( though small ) were neat and tidy and seemed renovated. My family and I had to bring our own suitcases into the hotel which was a first as no one from the hotel came out to help, they just starred at us. My driver himself got angry at the hotel staff for not helping us. The staff on front desk by the name of Vijay was extremely rude, spoke in a complete disgusting manner and created a whole problem from nothing. I will never stay at this hotel, I rather pay slightly more and stay at other hotels such as Hyatt Regency in Amdavad instead of Lemontree. Some of their staff don't speak/understand English so I often had to repeat myself 2-3 times and break down the sentence. I was charged room bill for something I didn't use and Vijay from front desk kept on blaming me and spoke disgusting. This Lemontree Hotel chain has no customer service. Furthermore, their swimming pool was dirty and during afternoons I noticed was closed. Due to the atrium, you can hear all the hustle/noise in your bedroom at times in the evenings. At 6am I had a next door room having maintenance works done with drilling and hammering which woke me. On my right room the walls seem to be so thin that you can hear people in the other room and their TV on. Would not stay again and would not recommend to anyone. Even after reminder the needful was done at 1 am in the morning. Even the AC stopped working at 1.30 in the night. When feedback was provided during checkout, the lady receptionist was not even interested in knowing details.
