"Good place for what they charge. First time staying here. Location was very good. Bed was comfortable. Tv didn’t have very good reception. Could be a little cleaner in bathroom (specifically the floor) and hallways. Evidently we came on on the tail end of race weekend maybe that’s why?? She said they were very busy."

"This was our first time in Iowa. We were in town for the Nascar race in Newton, IA. This was a perfect location to stay for the race as it is located away from the standard hotels, which saved us from having to sit in heavy traffic as we were able to take a back road back to the cottage. The cottage is located in a state park which is beautiful and the cottage was beautiful. Tony & Janel have set the cottage up beautifully, was very clean, labeled so there wasn't any guessing as how anything worked and the only thing needed is your food and drinks. We would highly recommend staying here whether it be for a peaceful getaway to the park or definitely if you are intending to go to the racetrack. This was our first experience with VRBO and I was nervous, but I was pleasantly surprised. Tony & Janel were very responsive with questions I had during the process of booking the cottage.Thank youTony & Janel!!"

"Location is a bit remote. Not much around besides gas stations. About a 15-20 minute drive to Altoona which has everything. Hotel is dated and nothing special, but it was clean and did the job as a place to stay. If you’re going to Knoxville raceway it’s about a 45-55 minute drive to get to the track."
