Wind is always there and we were told that it can be very strong but in our experience (14 days) it has been mostly a pleasant and cooling presence. The inside is well furnished and kept clean. For shopping, scooter rental, and some nightlife, Plakias is a twenty-minute drive. Morover, tavernas and shops are scattered along the seaside road and in the inner villages.
