"Jimmy on reception was excellent and the Hotel is beautiful and if you can book a superior room that comes with a balcony it is worth it for the amazing views out to sea and over the rooftops of this amazing place.the only things that I think could be improved so that I would give the hotel an overall total of 5* is the air con unit in our room number 8 didn’t really blow cold air which made it hard to sleep and I also think they could do with a toasting machine at breakfast"

"Lovely hotel right across from the beach. We had the top floor room with a big balcony overlooking the beach. The welcome was very good, the man on reception gave us a map & lots of information. The room was big and really clean. The shower 'cubicle ' was a bit basic with a shower head that didn't want to stay in place, but in general it was good."

"Beautiful clean hotel, in a wonderful position overlooking Agia Palagia and the east coast of Kythira. The rooms are very well laid out and equipped, and we had, without doubt, the most comfortable bed in our 41 years of visiting Greece. Add to this the sumptuous breakfast buffet and the friendly and helpful staff and management, and you have a top hotel which will provide anyone with a wonderful experience. We cannot recommend this Kythirian delight high enough."

"We had a great stay at ALKINOI hotel. The staff was amazing, from the receptionists to the hotel manager and the evening bar tender. We traveled with a little baby and were really well accommodated. The views from the hotel are spectacular. We had a great time."

"We really loved staying at Likinia and highly recommend it. Our room was spotless, and the staff was very helpful. It was pretty cool to stay in a castle-like setting. There was one minor maintenance issue (toilet had a minor constant trickle, but it worked fine). Power cycled several times during the night; might have been the city instead of the hotel. While the hotel is at the far end of town, the town is only 4 minutes from one end to the other so it’s not a problem. That said, if you plan to bring lots of luggage, the stairs and cobble stones could pose a problem. (We used a backpack and left our luggage in the car at the end of the causeway. AirTags gave us confidence.)"
