Fabulous apartment with stunning views.

Fabulous stay at the Ostria Apartments. We stayed for three nights in the Executive Room which had a large terrace with sun beds, sofa, table and umbrella. All the exceptionally clean rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and they all have fabulous views of the bay. Dimitris, the owner was a brilliant and generous host throughout, arranging taxis etc. He also runs an excellent drinks and snack bar next to the pool. These apartments are only a short drive away from the town of Agios Nikolaos and we would recommend staying here rather than the town. The hotel next door is just 2 mins walk away and also has a good restaurant. We will definitely recommend these apartments to family and friends.

The kindness of the house keeper is a value add, he provided to us many suggestions about how to spend at our best our time in this region of creta from restaurant to beaches, he was also very responsive on the few things we needed to ask him. A very good sense of hospitality.

Ostria Apartments wird von dem sehr netten Dimitris geführt. Dieser nimmt sich für jeden Gast Zeit Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants etc zu geben. Die Apartments sind sehr gut und werden laufend modernisiert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls Sehr Gut!

Lovely apartment near beach and with own pool.

My daughter and I had a great few days at Ostria - extremely clean, some of the most comfy 'hotel' beds I've slept in, fabulous views and all topped by a wonderful, friendly and helpful host in Dimitris. Although you would be best to have a car if you wish to explore further afield, we managed very well with one taxi ride to initially locate Ostria apartments with our supplies and luggage and then we just used the local bus - about 15 mins to Agios Nikolaos. The pool sits on a terrace overlooking the road (bit busy, but OK) and ocean. We had a good sized balcony with table, chairs and washing line. View of the ocean ahead, to your left fine views of Agios Nikolaos, to the right a beautiful range of mountains. The nearest swimming beach was less than 5 minutes walk away - small but perfectly good - and then another longer one about another 7 or 8 minutes further on where you could get a meal etc at a few different places. Walk way all the way. Remember it is self-catering: you need everything except crockery, cutlery, pans and washing up stuff (take a tea towel). Linen provided was very good quality. Thoroughly recommend these apartments and would like to return.
