Everyone at the Domes were very kind and helpful. The food and drinks throughout our stay were exceptional. The only areas we think need improvement are in the spa, where deep tissue was actually pretty aromatherapy and the shower in rooms had a few issues. Otherwise a lovely break all round.

The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms itself also good. The bathroom is small. the sea is good (not the best in Crete but good enough) you have sunbeds and drinks and snacks available there. The food options are limited but tasty, wouldn't be the best food you eat in Greece but still good. Don't wait for aisles of food. The Asian restaurant is seriously bad. We couldn't try the Greek one (Meze) because it was fully booked. That seems like a big issue at the hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly and you can see that they are doing their best. HOWEVER the staff is not enough. There was only one waitress serving for the pool and the lunch area close to the pool, so you have to wait to order. That's why you wait to order drinks, the food etc.

Dora was amazing! She helped us plan some great day trips. More local traditional Greek food at the dinner buffet would have been appreciated. Our room was very damp and smelt musty. We only stayed for 3 nights but would have asked to be moved if staying longer. .

We had a good time. I would recommend getting the ‘cool living’ package as it is on par with a 5* hotel, but if you don’t have that package I think it would feel closer to a 4*. The beach was really good!

A beautiful property with great staff! I felt immediately welcomed! Everything was clean and if we had an issues they were solved immediately. I loved everything. I would like some more late night food options other than room service maybe having one of the restaurants open later.

It was great overall. Good food, a nice beach, nice views, comfy rooms, and good drinks. The only things that could would improve it would be not playing music at the beach all the time because the sound of the sea is nice. Other than that no complaints. Lots of stuff to do around there and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

We stayed here for a week. We were a family of 4. My main criticsm was that the hotel was on steep slope. We were first in rooms 511/512. We always had to call reception for a golf buggy/ car to take us to the main hotel and back. was ok at first but got tiring so we requested a change of rooms and got 211/212. I did try walking back to our room on 5th floor one day and my legs were on fire!! Most people wore trainers and only the brave wore heels! Our shower was a bit disappointing because it was not enclosed. It had a 3 foot fixed screen so water everywhere and the shower head you had to hold because the bracket was hip height. So you couldn't have a long shower. The rooms were a high standard though. We enjoyed the food even though others have said negative. The restaurants you had to prebook so do this asap when you check in because the food is excellent. The toaster is very very slow. The T bags were very weak so take Yorkshire Tea bags if your from UK. Get to the island restaurant when it opens for lunch/dinner early because some of the food does dry out under the heat lamps. The greek deserts were delicious! The beach was a let down because it wasn't a sandy beach. When you walk into the water, there were smalls rocks and pebbles so wear beach shoes or teva style sandals. They had good cocktails in the beach bar but only cold cheese rolls and other snacks from the fridge. Would have loved a toasted sandwich or chips or something hot. Overall 8/10.

Overall, the property is beautiful and the staff was very nice! I wish there were more amenities because it became quite boring after multiple days on the resort. We purchased the Cool Running package which I didn’t feel was necessary. Our room came with swim up pool. However, the pool was extremely dirty and had to call multiple times for it to be clean. It was also extremely cold temperature. Also, the plumbing was awful so our room smell like sewer the entire stay. I reported this to staff with no resolve. They also provided the same varieties of food everyday so I thought it was great that they offer the “night out” amenity. We were able to explore the inner city and try new foods. We went for our honeymoon but I don’t see us returning.

Never seen that, superb part of the world, hotel could be a 9/10 but the staff is horrible, rooms are ultra small (can’t shower without touching either the wall or the glass). Food at the buffet is terrible, almost no Greek option, nothing fresh, frozen food and deserts, staff is ultra rude (when not just away). Pool is dirty, never seen a hotel where people don’t use the pool… avoid if you don’t like a huge effort walking from bedroom to amenities. Again so disappointed by the staff and the way this hotel is managed, a massive shame in such a beautiful country !
