I don't know if the rooms in all riads are so sensitive to noise. I'm not sensitive, but the rooms are really very soundproof. Especially if you stay under the terrace, you can hear the chairs being pushed back and forth all the time. I can't understand why the riad managers don't do anything about this. The rooms are really very small and unfortunately musty due to humidity (we had to change rooms). The staff are really nice and make an effort. Unfortunately, they can't help the circumstances. The location is good. The breakfast has very little choice and is almost always the same. The riad managers can certainly make a big difference here with small changes. Mustafa, the owner was more interested selling his tour packages than helping us settle. The taxi driver did speak to him that we were coming and ask him to come outside the main road as the transfer from airport to hotel could not be reached by car but he out buying some grapes for himself. The adjacent empty block and back are full of rubbish. Not sure who discarded the rubbish but full of it. Other staff are nice and helpful.

"We stayed in a bungalow, and also had dinner at Dar Jnane. Hosts were friendly. Garden was a nice setting, and we enjoyed a walk to the old village and the palmerie in the evening. Dar Jnane was a pleasant stop en route to M’Hamid and Erg Chigaga."

"As the gateway to desert, with thorough Amazigh decoration in this place, it is the best place to begin whole new journeys. With pre-arragement, they will serve in-house breakfasts and dinners. I am planning to come back this place next year."

What a beautiful pool area!!!
"Beautiful room, glamorous pool area, friendly staff, yummy included breakfast and delicious (though pricey for Moroccan standards) dinner. The hotel is also located in the middle of a Kasbah which seems quite abandon, though you see people on the streets and is interesting for walking around."
