"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "Zur Ankunft hatte mir der Betreiber vergessen den Zugangscode zu senden. Nach einigen Telefonaten und SMS erhielt ich dann den Zugangscode. Der Betreiber entschuldigte sich mehrmals und gab mir gleich noch zwei gute Restaurant Tipps . Das Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und kleiner Küche ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich."

"They were doing renovations in other rooms in the building (we stayed off-season), so our room smelled like plaster and construction materials from all the dust etc from the downstairs renovation. In my opinion, they should not have listed the property since it is under renovation. We literally had to walk over construction materials to climb the stairs. It was expensive for what we experienced. "

"Excellent location next to the National Museum, RC Lido train station, Gelato Cesare, and the promenade. Only about 10 minute walk to the ferry port. Hotel had an excellent breakfast with many choices (muesli, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, ham and cheese, pastries, and even granita with brioche, among other options. They also had an excellent dinner menu. Rooms were clean and comfortable (AC helpful). I would stay here again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our perfect stay at Domus Nova! The owner Giuseppe was a fantastic host making us feel welcome as if we were visiting relatives! He graciously carried our luggage up the small flight of stairs and upgraded us to a balcony suite making our stay even more pleasant with a beautiful view of the Strait of Messina/Sicily. Giuseppe was extremely knowledgeable, offered several recommendations to visit around the local area including several attractions in nearby cities and took the time to greet us and check in daily. Every morning the lovely Fryline served us espresso/cappuccino and offered a nice selection of pastries, meat and cheese and the friendly staff thoroughly cleaned our room every morning. The room was clean and spacious with a smart tv, AC, and all the amenities-our rainfall shower was very hot with good water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are centrally located in the heart of Reggio behind Corso Garibaldi just minutes from the Centrale train station. Steps from the resort is excellent shopping historical monuments and amazing restaurants. A couple of blocks from the resort is Lungomare, several lovely beaches and restaurants on the water. Out of all the hotels and B&B we stayed at throughout Italy and USA over the years, Domus Nova was more like staying with family (that you actually like!) we can’t wait to return here again!"
