"This hotel was within walking distance from the train station called Interlaken West. It is in an area with multiple restaurants, tourist shops, and a small grocery store (called coop) where we got drinks and snacks several times, including items for our breakfast. The hotel overall was clean, and our room was very clean. It was not luxurious, but it was fine. We were there at the end of July, and the weather was hot and humid. Our room did not have air conditioning. The room had 2 portable fans in it. There was a large window and a door to a small balcony, so we could open the window and door to let some air come in. However, on the ground level there were restaurants with outdoor seating, and when we wanted to go to sleep at 10:00 or 11:00 in the evening, the noise from people at the outdoor restaurant seating was very annoying if we (on third floor) had the window or door open. So, the choices were to put up with the noise of people talking and clanking dishes (it was surprisingly loud) or close up the window and balcony door and have a hot room. In cooler weather, this would not be a problem."

"Beautiful Location & Lovely Family Stay We had a lovely family stay at Hotel Berghof Amaranth. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning Swiss mountain scenery and it was a great base for exploring Interlaken and the surrounding areas. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, our room was clean and comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing. The staff were super helpful, friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay, which made the room quite uncomfortable, particularly in the warmer weather. It would have made our stay much better if this had been working properly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful family memories here. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay while exploring the Interlaken region. 🇨🇭 Thank uou again to the amazing staff for a wonderful experience."

"The location was perfect and very close to the train stations. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more pleasant. Although the price was a little high, we had a great view from our room and really enjoyed our stay overall. We also appreciated being able to store our luggage, which was extremely helpful since hotel check-in and check-out times don’t always coincide with train schedules. There were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, all within easy walking distance, which made the location very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Big rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great breakfast bar, hotel has that old style charm but rooms are big and recently updated, no AC and they need to invest in newer more efficient fans, rooms are VERY noisy because hotel sits right under the street trolleys and they run 24/7... Is within walking distance of the main train station in Bern. Staff is friendly and will go out of their way to meet your needs."

"This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !"
