Overall the hotel was older and our room had mold in it but they are renovating so maybe that will be fixed.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (2,466 reviews)
Hotel Monterey Grasmere was such an amazing place to stay. Right nearby the train station and a mere ten minute walk from Dotonburi. Staff was so accommodating for letting us drop off our bags early as well as letting us leave our bags for safekeeping while we explored the city after checking out before heading back to Tokyo.
Rooms were immaculately clean. Shower/tub combo was such a wonderfully relaxing amenity. Beds were very comfortable and room was a great size for our needs.
Staff was very friendly and informative. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I come to Osaka
