Dubrovnik er et fantastisk sted. ALT var perfekt, gamlebyen og bymuren er utrolig sjarmerende! Byen mye større enn forventet, gikk på oppdagelsesferd hver kveld og fant stadig nye «skatter» og koselige restauranter. Vi var der 1 uke, bodde på hotel Lero som var et supert hotell. Beliggenheten er perfekt, 1,2 km til sentrum, en koselig tur på gangvei/fortau (litt smalt/mye trafikk et lite stykke...vanskelig m barn/barnevogn).Buss nr 4 gikk like utenfor hotellet og kostet ca 15 kr. (Bussbilletter kjøpes på hotellet).Stort og fint hotellrom, nyoppusset og med veldig god seng og aircondition. Håndkletørrer på badet som er smart til badehåndklær iom at rommet ikke har balkong. Resepsjonen var alltid hyggelige og ga god service. Frokosten var variert og god, t.o.m musserende vin! Fint bassengområde men lite sol, vi brukte ikke dette. Vi gikk til den nærmeste stranden, ca 400 m (og noen trapper). Deilig strand, nydelig og klart vann med fine småsteiner og med sol fra morgen til ca 17\. Nydelig restaurant på hotellet, Taj Mahal. Hotellet var super lækkert og der var den bedste service! Fra vores værelse havde vi udsigt udover vandet, og det samme havde vi hver morgen, når vi sad og spiste morgenmad. Her fik vi serveret franskbrød, sandkage, æg, en skål med frisk frugt, græsk yougurt, et glas ananas juice, kaffe og the og en pålægstallerken med ost, pølse, tomat, smør, honning og to forskellige slags syltetøj. Der manglede intet. Stedet var stille og roligt og ikke særlig turistet - det var ren idyl. Hotellet lå 2 minutters gang fra nærmeste supermarked og ligeledes 2 minutters gang fra byens hovedgade, hvor der var masser af restauranter og små shops. Et virkelig hyggeligt område! Frokosten er nydelig, alltid med ferskt brød, egg, ost, skinke og annet pålegg. Det er alltid rent og pent overalt. Beliggenheten er helt fantastisk med ett minutt ned til den langgrunne sandstranda i Agri Marina. Resturantene ligger på rekke og rad rett i denne koselige byen. Men det som først og fremst skiller dette hotellet fra andre vi har besøkt, er vertskapet. Maria, George og Alexander gir av seg selv og byr på lun humor og varme. Estuvimos encantados en el hotel, habitacion con terraza y vistas al mar y la playa. La playa a dos minutos a pie. Y hay innumerables calitas alrededor para bucear o estar flotando en el agua. La situacion inmejorable, pues esta en el pueblo pero no encima de los bares y pufs. Es un hotel familiar, como estar en casa,pero a tu aire. La habitacion es muy basica pero tiene todo lo necesario, y la gente muy muy amable. Si no te entiendes en griego, hablan ingles. Hay ferry directo desde El Pireo. Vom Gastraum und der Terrasse aus blickt man zwischen Pinien und blühenden Sträuchern auf die gesamte Badebucht; von meinem Zimmerfenster aus sah ich über riesigen Bougainvillea Sträuchern, die die Strasse vom Anleger in den Ort säumen, auf das Meer bis zum Horizont. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es recht ruhig. Das Frühstück ist wohl dem Preis angemessen. Frisches Obst kann man sich leicht selber besorgen. Und O-Saft habe ich auch in teureren Hotels nur aus der Tüte bekommen. Das Zimmer und Bad ist etwas eng, hat aber alles, was ich brauche, einschliesslich eines ordentlichen Föns. Eine nette junge Frau reinigte täglich sehr sorgfältig mein Zimmer, wechselte wohl jeden 2\. Tag die Laken und legte auch herumliegnede Kleidungsstücke zusammen. Die Familie geht sehr freundlich, in persönlichem Ton mit den Gästen um. Die beiden bunten Vögelchen - in getrennten Käfigen - im zur Terrasse hin offenen Gastraum taten mir in ihrer Gefangenschaft Leid, lösten mit ihrem Gesang aber ein wundervoll vielfältiges Gezwitscher im angrenzenden Grün aus. Die Frühstücksterrasse: ein Balkon mit Blick über die Bucht.... und das Frühstück ist für griechische Verhältnisse super Das Personal: freundlich und bemüht und unkompliziert Der Ort: bezaubernd, einfach und kinderfreundlich. Ein Tipp: nur 50 m vom Hotel entfernt sitzt am Abend ein Maler und Portrait-Zeichner. Um 20 Euro zaubert ein Portrait in 30 min. Noch ein Tipp: der Kinderladen auf der Hauptstrasse, allerdings Vorsicht: man kriegt die Kinder kaum mehr raus und auch mancher Erwachsene kriegt leuchtende Kinderaugen.
