The property needs a little love and care. The bathroom window wouldn’t close, there were no dark curtains (I had the street light into my balcony window all night, had to improvise and put towels up to make the room a bit darker). The staff was lovely, and welcoming, and they cleaned the room very well every morning, but the town is a bit empty at the beginning of June, and the property is very quiet, not much to do within walking distance.

Pavlos had been amazing the entire time, he is kind and polite in all the aspects you can imagine, he always try to give you advice about what to do and tell you some tips about the place and area. All the people that work here are very nice also, even that I wanted to extend my time here! I fully recommend this place, is close to everything and the view is amazing.

I enjoyed a very relaxed days at this hotel. I mainly come to my room for shower and sleep. If you are looking for a 5 Star Hotel - this one is not. You get exactly what you paid for - and this is a good thing. No unrealistic expectations. And the smiling Georgian ladies are funny too.

Φιλικό και ήσυχο περιβάλλον!!

Πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο με υπέροχη θέα!! Πολύ ήσυχο μέρος για να ηρεμήσεις. Ξυπνάς το πρωί και βλέπεις από το μπαλκόνι την θάλασσα και ακούς μόνο τα κοκόρια!! Οι άνθρωποι του ξενοδοχείου, μας υποδέχονταν πάντα με χαμόγελο!! Θα το προτιμήσουμε ξανά! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!!

Idéal pour séjourner et apprécier Perdika.

Je connais Perdika depuis 60 ans et voulais y passer les dernières nuits de séjour d'un mois en Grèce. L'Hôtel Hippocampus a répondu au mieux à toutes mes attentes. La gentillesse de l'accueil au rez-de-chaussée avec le charme des meubles anciens et des beaux objets de toutes sortes; la terrasse fleurie aux fauteuils confortables, où les chats sont rois, et le confort de la chambre, petite, mais bien agencée.

A lovely stay

We loved our stay in the Hippocampus. The room was excellent, though simple and a bit old fashioned, had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It was so nice to wake up to the sea view from our balcony each morning. Excellent breakfast in courtyard, and owner so helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again.

This is the real deal to get out of the "big" Aegina city hub bub with MANY places to eat and drink along the water! The hospitality and breckfest was stunning! Of the about a the dozen places we could to eat at we chose Alkvovn, about the 4h in walking on the waterfront.

J'ai passé 2 semaines merveilleuses dans cet hôtel au charme incontestable. Le propriétaire vous accueillera comme un membre de la famille. Toute l'équipe est d'une gentillesse et d'une attention mémorable. Les chambres sont très bien. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien. Pour être allée plusieurs fois sur l'île, le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. Foncez sans hésiter !
