Adirondack History Museum

Overall it was good. We were in the latter suites to the back of the property separated from the main lodge. I didn’t like how I could hear the external door slamming shut from our room and we had a white noise machine going. I was woken up by people coming in at 1:30am. I also booked it for the soaking tub but when we used it the safety drain is so low that we couldn’t really get our bodies fully submerged without it draining. For the price paid for that amenity alone, I was expecting better. It was clean and the staff was nice. Again for the price of the place I was expecting a better breakfast. They did have shuffleboard though and other games I wish I had had more time to enjoy.

This was a newly updated property. It was clean and the location was great. Our room had bunk beds, no table or desk and 1 small chair. There was no restaurant or breakfast on site and no elevator. We had to get our luggage down a steep flight of stairs on our own when we arrived and departed. There was no one there to help. Travelers should consider this if they are disabled or traveling alone.
