Top Adirondack History Museum Hotel Reviews
Laurel Lake Placid
10/10 Excellent
"The carpets in the common areas were dirty and dated, however the room itself was clean and nicely maintained. We enjoyed the junior king suite with all the extra space. The bathroom was super clean and modernized. All in all a wonderful stay and we would definitely book here again!"
Grandview Lake Placid
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice."
Adirondack Spruce Lodge
8/10 Good
"We recently spent one night at the Spruce Lodge. Our room was very clean and a perfect size for the two of us. We loved the decor and the quietness. The breakfast was a good selection for us since we are not big breakfast eaters. It would have been nice to have a piece of fresh fruit though. There was a little mix up with which room we were staying in but after a few phone calls that was straightened out promptly. We definitely would stay here again. It is such a nice centralized location to explore the area and on to Lake Placid."
Cascade Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Excellent preparation of room."
Cadence Lodge at Whiteface
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Cadence Lodge! Our room was clean and comfortable, and very charming with local Adirondack decor. Shelly lit the fire pit in the evening and there was lots of wood to keep the fire burning. There is a delicious home cooked breakfast on the weekend included with your stay. The location is great. Close to Whiteface Mountain for skiing and other activities, just a short drive to Lake Placid and near lots of hiking trails. It was a perfect place to enjoy the fall foliage. Best of all was the onsite restaurant for dinner. We’re in the area a lot and had never tried it before. Boy have we missed out. The food was delicious with lots of innovative choices along with some classics. A full bar and really cozy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!"
Whiteface Farm Adirondack Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed a 2 night stay in room 2 which had a king size bed and private bath. There is a well furnished common area with large TV and the property is well maintained. The breakfast is excellent. The only improvement to suggest would be to add a TV in the bedroom."
High Peaks Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay in the resort's Waterfront collection was great! The Junior suite was literally on the water with beautiful views. It's a large room with gas fireplace, jetted tub, separate shower, dual sinks and a comfortable king bed. Nearby Black Bear restaurant on Main St. was a favorite, with only a two minute walk for great food. We didn't have the chance to use their kayaks or paddleboats, but did take advantage of the hot tub and indoor pool in the Lake House for post-hikes recovery. This was the one area clearly in need of renovation. Overall, the High Peaks Resort's Waterfront collection is now one of our top choices to stay in Lake Placid."
The Devlin
10/10 Excellent
"I booked the Premium Queen Suite with balcony and was surprised at how spacious it was. Complete kitchen, separate bedroom with comfortable queen bed, and sunny morning balcony. The staff was friendly, the room and property were clean, and a "grab-n-go" breakfast was available adjacent to the lobby. The Devlin has an interesting Olympic history. The location is great, walking distance to everything. I thought it was a great value and I'd stay again!"
