"Everything was lovely and Anna at reception was welcoming and effecient . The view was outstanding and location by the historic fortress and church was an added bonus. Lovely breakfast buffet included with the accommodation. Highly recommend this wonderful property."

"The home was very quaint and clean. The roads were typical old european roads, so if you aren't comfortable driving in small spaces this may not be the place for you. Overall a great place though. "

"The room was very spacious and had a great view. We only were disappointed in lack of professionalism in staff. At the breakfast, we found the young employees hogging a coffee machine, chitchatting. No regard to guests who paid for the breakfast, not as a part of their fringe benefits (I am assuming that staff can eat the same breakfast as guests at this hotel?). Only driveway to the parking was extremely steep and scary. A lot of water damage in the room and building. Very awkward building structure (“new” addition to the existing building?). Overall, it was a pretty nice experience except the young employees prioritizing their breakfast needs over paying guests."

"We returned to the villa so we knew what we were getting. The views are absolutely spectacular and no photo fully does them justice. Ana who manages the house is great and made the check in and departure very easy. Ana also arranged for local ladies to come in and cook Portuguese food, which was amazing. I would higly recommend the property as a place.from which to explore the lovely beaches nearby. The food is well equipped and there's lots of space for coffee, reading, eating, BBQ, table tennis,swimming and drinks. The upper roof terrace is a great place for sunset drinks and the view towards Lisbon is wonderful. There's also easy access.to a local supermarket. Great place for large group."

"We stayed at the property for 2 nights for a family wedding, in the area. The property was spacious and the pool was used as soon as we got there. Perfect for us that pets are welcome as travelling with 2 dogs, with plenty of space to exercise them. Would definitely stay again"

I could have been elevated by the owner supplying swimming towels, cushions for the sunbeds, a large pool umbrella and lighting in the pool.Pool cleaning net was in very poor condition.Nuno and Bruno (agents) did communicate well and Nuno always there to support if we needed anything. "
