There is a lot of construction in the area around it and partially finished roads, however it is easy enough to walk out to the main road where you can find restaurants, other hotels and shops. The next morning when I went out for a walk (the hotel is at the end of a dirt road), I was approached by a man who claimed to be the hotel driver who offered to tour me around. It soon became clear he was trying to scam me: inviting me to “cultural dance ceremony” being put on because it was an Ethiopian holiday (it wasn’t). Though he may be unrelated to the hotel he seemed to know people that worked there. They have humble and great staff. Looking forward to stay again in the future trips.
