Worse possible stay for the price in Addis. No water one day. No lights in room on second stay. Moved to another room and no hot water and toilet wouldn't flush. Cancelled extra rooms early but would give no refund and tried to make me pay twice for rooms I paid for on Expedia. Terrible place would not recommend to anyone. Told them I was going to give a bad review and they couldn't care less.

Unfortunately, my stay was spoiled by the rundown state of the hotel: the room was much worse than the pics, I didn't have hot water for 3 days despite complaining on a daily basis and being told that they would have restored it shortly, the WiFi never worked, on the 4th day I woke up with water coming down from the ceiling and they tried to change my room with a worse one, then they moved me to a suite but unfortunately I had booked a suite in the first place, so I figured out they had given me a lower level room for the price of a suite in the first place. The personnel of the restaurant was very nice, but all the rest was extremely poor. Never again!

versprechungen wurden nicht gehalten, die unkompliziert reparatur einer nachtischlampe dauerte mehr als 1ne woche. stromführende leitungen ohne schutz, das bad sehr runtergekommen und sehr schmutzig voll schimmel, das fernsehen ....., insgesamt war das zimmer eine katastrophe.

Pas d eau chaude malgré nos réclamations, WC bouche, cafards, bruyant mais grande chambre. Dîner infâme (frites tellement dures que l on ne pouvait pas les attraper à la fourchette) mais nous avons fait de meilleurs repas ensuite. Accueil gentil.

Excellent Hotel - Value for Money

The stay at Edna Addis was a very satisfying. The service can be rated as excellent. The staff is always ready to help even going out of their way if needed. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. The restaurant services good food at very economical price. The staff ensures arranging Taxi for travel. Hotel shuttle service is also available for Airport pickup and drop which was very helpful.

Hôtel moyen pour Addis Abeba. Nous avons du faire au moins trois chambres différentes sans en trouver une ou il n'y avait pas un problème (porte d'entrée qui ne ferme pas de l'intérieur, fenêtre qui ne ferme pas, pas de lumière, etc). Ces problèmes sont récurrents en Ethiopie : on construit des hôtels mais après personne pour l'entretien. Tout se dégrade. Et pour l'eau chaude, elle l'est pour eux mais est ultra tiède... Le personnel est quant à lui sympa. Dernier point : personne n'est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport malgré notre demande. Le véhicule était hors service selon le personnel. 10 Euros de taxi... Et le lendemain matin le véhicule était stationné devant l'hôtel, en parfait état de marche... Nous constaterons que c'est une excuse récurrente en Ethiopie.

I stayed at Edna Addis twice recently and I want to commend the staff for being so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and the food in the restaurant, which was very good, was served promptly. Considering the excellent service, the price is modest. One suggestion and one concern. Either the curtains in the rooms need to be much darker, or a policy about the hall lights needs to be enforced. I switched them off on a couple of occasions when trying to sleep but someone switched them back on. The other thing is the noise. Guests in the room next door were quite noisy from 3-4 a.m. for some unknown reason, and the dogs on the nearby street make quite a noise early in the morning. Obviously the hotel can't do much about the dogs, but guests can be asked to be more considerate of other guests during the night.

Nice Hotel

I stayed for 2 weeks at Edna hotel and I can say that my room was very tidy and clean all the time , I enjoyed breakfast buffet and 24 hrs bar servce delivering quality traditional food for all its customers . ,Above all, polite and professional the hotel staff members. I strongly recommend other to use this hotel.

Chambre spacieuse et propre

Après un voyage dans l'ouest de la capitale, très belle surprise en découvrant notre hôtel à Addis !!! Accueil très chaleureux, chambre très propre et spacieuse, sdb très bien équipée (eau chaude à tout moment, ce n'est pas le cas dans tous les hôtels), wc propres. L'ensemble du personnel est à votre écoute pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose des plats traditionnels et classiques à prix très compétitifs. Les quantités servis sont gargantuesque, un plat pour 2 personnes est largement suffisant... Le service navette pour l'aéroport (gratuit) est très appréciable surtout pour des arrivées/départs nocturnes. Nous retournerons sans hésitez dans cet hôtel lors de notre prochain séjour à Addis... Merci à toute l'équipe de l'hôtel...

Vi hadde eit veldig bra opphold på Edna Addis hotell. Fine rom og veldig god service. Frukosten var heilt fabelaktig. Eit lite trekk var at vi såg nåkre kakkerlakker på soverommet.

Nach vorheriger e-mail klappte Airport-Transfer sehr gut, Hotel recht zentral gelegen mit guter Minibusanbindung tagsüber, Frühstück reichhaltig, Toilette nicht über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Über Expedia war mir eine Aufenthaltsverlängerung von 1 Nacht tel. zugesichert worden, wobei ich dann einem Aufpreis zustimmte, da nur ein 3 Bettzimmer frei sei. Allerdings stellte ich fest, daß von Seiten Expedia doch keine Buchung erfolgt war , weiß nicht warum es zu einem Mißverständnis kommen konnte!! War nicht weiter schlimm, da ich dann doch 1 weitere Nacht zum üblichen Preis (vor Ort bar bezahlt) mein Zimmer behalten konnte. Hoffentlich hat mir Expedia dies nicht zusätzlich in Rechnung gestellt.

An 3rd day I ate by hotel restaurant and in the night at 1 am I had foodpoisen the meat was too old coocked they took me to hospital hotel administration I mean I had bad time there even I am back home still visiting Doctor they paid for hotel and offered me some biscuite and coffee for 2 days no english understanding staff only broken english being spoken no German French spanish or etc not recommended for people who need comfort and piece of mind

3.5 I would recommend Edna for value. It is not as nice as the top hotels in Addis, most of which I have tried, but is also significantly cheaper. It was clean overall but a little rough around the edges. Food was good and friendly, helpful service. I would stay here again for a hotel in this price point but for business I will probably splurge and go to a slightly nicer hotel.

He rellenado las casillas anteriores para poder enviar este comentario pero NO SE como es el hotel ya que a pesar de tener reservadas y PAGADAS las habitaciones al llegar nos dijeron q no tenian habitaciones libres, que el hotel estaba lleno y nos mandaron a otro. Por supuesto que me parece una enorme falta de respeto y de profesionalidad y que no recomendare nunca este hotel
