"Hotel is a bit difficult to find with GPS. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Breakfast was very nice as was dinner. The cleaning staff were talking in the hotel corridor outside of the room at 8am, when we were trying to sleep. The hotel is located on the main street, and the room was located right above the street, which was very noisy with people revving up motorcycles until 12 midnight, which again made for difficult sleeping. The hotel staff was very helpful in assisting us with unloading our luggage from our car and taking it up to the room and also when we left. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Tecla Palace. The facilities were excellent - beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea, just like the photos. Plenty of sunbeds to relax in. Easy access to swim in the sea from the hotel, with lifeguards on duty. Delicious food at all the restaurants. There isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding area - we walked into the nearest town one evening but we decided that the bars and restaurants on offer at the hotel were much nicer. This was perfect for us as we had intended our short trip to be a relaxing one based in the hotel, but for anyone hoping to explore Sicily a bit more I'd recommend renting a car, as taxis can be expensive. "

"Amazing stay in this dreamlike castle. Liliana was very helpful. Off the beaten path spot, we were the only foreigners in town. Close to major spots. Only suggestion would be new towels but highly recommend staying here."

"For the price, it's 5-star. Very clean, no frills. AC works! There's soap and towels. Wonderful view from the common area balcony on the 2nd floor (no views from room)! They have limited parking space inside the compound, which was extremely helpful! The owners were sweet and helpful. We had a bit of communication issue at first, which was easily solved once face-to-face with google translate through phone. The only challenge was we didnt get much check-in details prior to arriving. So once there, we called the number (this is where we had some communication challenge, our fault we didn't speak Italian), but then once we could figure it out, everything was smooth. I strongly suggest letting them know what time you will be arriving because they could easily had not been there when we arrived (they left 5 mins after we arrived, so we were grateful to be able to get the keys before that!). In general in Italy, it is always a good idea to let the host know of arrival time, is a valuable lesson we learnt. "
