We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "The staff were all very pleasant& helpful. Anything I requested was provided promptly & with a smile. The honesty bar was great so easy to serve yourself. The SPA was good although I do feel a reduction for hotel guests rather than SPA customers would be beneficial. The hotel was further from the centre than anticipated but taxis easily obtained by the helpful reception team. Solo travellers are caught with high taxi fares. Maybe a hotel shuttle on the hour to the centre for a nominal fee for guests could be investigated in the future as im suremany use it as a baee to explore the area as i did so a connection to the bus/ train station would be ideal. Food was delicious both breakfast & dinner, although I wasn't informed I could order hot items via the QR code at breakfast however, I had all I could eat. Lastly to be sdvised the restaurant was closed when I arrived on my first day as a solo traveller wasn't ideal. Thankfully a pizza parlour a few metres away was open. All in alli had a lovely stay & am staying in an Una Hotel in Venice in November so I hope its just as good. Clare"
