"Rooms were dirty and needed a bit of repair. Definitely not safe for anyone with young children. Some staff were good but others were not the greatest. Not many breakfast options. Elevators were visibly dirty and hadn’t been cleaned at all throughout our stay. Brought up issues with the staff the day of check in and were told there’s nothing they could do and refused a refund. "

"The front desk staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and patient. Frances was able to help deal with an issue in a pleasant and cordial manner and it set the tone for the rest of the stay."

"Great staff and nice and quiet. Had everything needed except there were storage bowl lids but no storage bowls lol. The only issue was the door didn’t close all the way unless you kind of lifted it and pulled it shut so it could be easy to leave your room door ajar if you weren’t careful. Otherwise, this was my second time staying and will definitely stay again. "

"We enjoyed our stay here! It was very fairly priced. The hosts were very accommodating and had little extras they did need to provide but did anyways. There were a few things that seemed like they could be updated but still functional and nice. We would stay here again! "

"The location of the home was ok for visiting the monuments and museums. We had a dog with us and it was pet friendly big back yard. The cleanliness of the home was ok although the beds we good but the pillows needs to be replaced. There was a living space down stairs where the owner lives but it wasn’t a problem. I just suggest that put a lock on that door. On the whole the experience was good. "

"We had a fabulous stay. Clean, comfortable lodgings very close to Mount Vernon. Excellent host who aimed to please and definitely did! Would recommend and would stay there again!"

"Problems started with the access code for the door not working. The master bathroom toilet flush mechanism was broken and we had to remove the tank lid every time to flush. Master shower was lacking pressure. We were using the microwave and it blew a breaker in the garage. No ice maker in the refrigerator. The toilet issue was brought up to the owner but nothing was done about it while we were there.Not a bad location for our trips into DC to visit the sites though."
