Go early to avoid the queues. Audio guide fairly good.
This is probably my favourite venue in Venice. Unfortunately I visited at a time when about ten rooms were closed for restoration.
Area surrounding the Academy is lovely and less busy than Basilica etc
Vetruvian Man exhibition excellent with additional sketches on loan from the UK.
