The room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived at 3 p.m., and everything looked quite worn and dirty. The floorboards creaked constantly, which was very annoying. The breakfast was good overall, except for the coffee—I’ve honestly never had such terrible coffee. It was also uncomfortably cold in the breakfast area.

The property and furnishing are not new, but still in acceptable condition and clean (except for the odd spider-web). The highlight of the stay was dinner at the restaurant, with very friendly and efficient service.

A useful base for Salsburg and its surroundings if you have a car. Main reason for choosing it was its competitive price and though it is a bit out of the way, it still made sense. The restaurant is good pub meal type food and seems to be a favourite for the locals

The property and rooms were really nice and comfortable. Location is also beautiful. Strangely, we were not able to find any staff on Sunday for the entire day. It just felt a bit remote and abandoned during our stay (mid-December). I would also recommend arriving by car. Buses only arrive to the location every hour or so.

It was not terrible for the price

Check-in was a bit bad as noone was at the reception and we had to try a bunch of phone numbers out in the rain for like 20min just to get in, the room was kind of clean, furniture was very old. Restaurant was ok when opened. Breakfast was non existent. Plenty of parking. Small old play ground at the back.

Beds need upgrade

We had a plesant stay. But the beds need and udgrade, we had booket 6 nights but endded up checking out a night before. Our backs were hurting every morning we woke up. There is absolutely nothing to do around the vital. The nearest city Abtenau, cosy. But almost imposible to get dinner on a monday. We got dinner on a thuesday and it was way to expensive. More expensive than in Salzburg. The restaurant on the hotel served good food, but are closed on mondays. The absolute best experience is the young 16 year old guy in the restaurant, so sweet, caring and always in a good mood. He made our day.
