We were let in a bit earlier than usual but the room was surprisingly warm. The air conditioning was off and I hadn’t realised I needed to contact reception for the centrally controlled system. The corridors also smelled damp and mouldy. Compounding the issue, there was no complimentary water in the room despite the key indicating otherwise. It seemed like a Hilton member only perk. I am a member, but booked last min and didn’t have the membership no. This is the first time I’ve encountered this in all my travels. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. However, the parking was quite expensive at £15 per night. Overall, the hotel was clean.

Clean modern hotel in a convenient location for road connections and Oxford. The only downside - a £15 charge to park per car. For a city centre hotel this is fairly common, but for a hotel outside of a city and in a location where car transport is realistically the only option, I think such a charge is unjustified and a rip off.

Lovely hotel, clean and modern. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the extra £15 for car parking. Don’t pay it - there are lots of local streets within 5 minute walk where you can park for free.

The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was due to the fact that Hotels.com had not passed on my information regarding travelling with dogs. On my arrival I found out I’d been allocated a non pet friendly room, I advised them I had sent the information as requested via Hotels.com, but they said they had not received it. Thankfully, despite there being a large function at the hotel, they were able to make some changes and allocate me a pet friendly room! Can you imagine if they’d been completely full 😳 Other than that the hotel was FABULOUS! A lovely spacious ground floor room and staff that were so attentive and polite! I would definitely stay there again.
