"What a perfect stay in an interesting cottage it was cosy very well equipped and very clean very dog friendly bowls blankets and towels also dog treats provided.. and what a lovely welcome basket welsh fruit cake pancakes waffles and even a bottle of prosecco from the owners dawn and Mike who are friendly and very helpful we had plenty of logs for the initial fire a nice forest walk for the dogs just up from the cottage a lovely little village we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived...

"We really enjoyed our week at swallows nest. We originally booked a weekend but booked and stayed on an extra 4 nights. Really comfortable quiet and owners were lovely people. We would have preferred a washing machine in the cottage instead of the a dish washer but apart from that we all really enjoyed our time at swallows nest.We visited Castell Dinefwr which was only a 10 minutes drive and walked through castle woods which was a nice walk. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable"

"Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. "All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."

"Enjoyable stay, great location and lovely pub. We would definitely stay again, the only niggles for us were the mattress could have been better quality (we like a good mattress) and the room being not so roomy meant that the unit with tea/coffee etc was quite crammed with the fan on it also so made it a bit of a chore space wise for making a cuppa. The breakfast was excellent quality my husband had the full breakfast which was lovely, good quality ingredients and plenty of it, the only bug bear there was the toast was cold and as I only have toast and jam, I would have enjoyed the toast hot. All in all it was a lovely place, really friendly staff, clean and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay."
