The property is situated at the southeastern gateway to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, at the foot of the magnificent Blorenge mountain and surrounded by the seven hills of Abergavenny, an easy, flat walk from Keepers Pond car park or via the steep footpath directly from the village. Iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain is less than 5 miles away, and this popular, rewarding hike through oak woodlands leads to a summit with panoramic views of the Marches. Foodies will love being less than 5 miles from Abergavenny, the food capital of Wales, where you can savour plenty of local fare at the many eateries or at the market. Alternatively, there is plenty of history to discover, including the must-visit Big Pit National Coal Museum (6.5 miles) or one of the many castles in the area.

At one end of the space is the sleek kitchen area, complete with all the appliances needed to whip up tasty treats or a celebratory meal. The kitchen island is ideal for sociable drinks and informal dining. In the centre of the room, you can gather to enjoy unhurried meals at the lovely wooden dining table with a view looking out into the garden. After dinner, retire to the sitting area, which features plenty of comfortable sofas to sink into. Enjoy chatting or gather your favourite drinks and snacks for a movie night on the Smart TV. To the left of the kitchen is a hall that leads past a utility room and WC to two attractive ground-floor king-size bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Upstairs, you’ll find two more king-size bedrooms (both zip and link), each with a Smart TV for lazy mornings in bed, an en-suite shower room and a dressing room.
