Best Western Citadelle

8/10 Good

"Good Location, Good Breakfast, Limited Parking, Helpful staff"

Hôtel Victor Hugo & Spa

8/10 Good

"Underground parking good. Entrance though bar with several steps up to reception. No clear signs to direct to lift in bar. Had to ask receptionist to help lift suitcases to reception. She never mentioned lift either! Good beds and room facilities. Nobody on desk in morning to check out. Was about to leave a note when the receptionist appeared. Hotel seemed to run on skeleton staff."

ibis Styles Besançon

"So. After an exhausting drive from Rotterdam we dropped our bags in the room and shot down for a beverage before dinner. Staff friendly and chatty. Food was better than I'd expect from a hotel. My Faux Fillet was excellent. Room, was good, large bed, shower. Just what we needed."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Abbans-Dessous?

The best time to go to Abbans-Dessous is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the region without the peak summer crowds.Late spring sees the countryside in full bloom, with comfortable temperatures great for walking, cycling, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Doubs region.
