Although we have booked on the same day and arrived late, staff welcomed us and prepared amazing dinner taking into consideration our food restrictions. (vegan/ vegetarian friendly) It's super quiet, we had a great sleep. The view from the window is amazing with nature and lake around. We happened to arrive at the season when the plants at the lake turn red, very beautiful. Stayed for a night on my birthday. A little disappointed with not even a birthday wish despite informing the hotel months earlier when I booked our room. However, the sumptuous keiseki dinner and friendly staff made me feel better. Would be great if there was more time to savour each dish. Our Japanese styled room with twin beds was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It has a nice view of the lake. There was no elevator but we had no problem as we left our big luggage in our car and took only what we needed to our 3rd floor room. There is a small indoor onsen.
