The entire staff were so gracious and helpful and friendly. We first visited this property 12 years ago during winter when it was surrounded by snow and a frozen lake. Staff is very polite and helpful. It is very easy to reach the hotel from the airport as there is an airport limousine line connecting to arriving/departing flights in Memanbetsu airport. There is also bus stop of “Doko Bus” (which is by reservation only) next to the hotel, which travel to the Abashiri downtown and other attractions, but the service is rather limited so I strongly recommend to rent a car or hire a taxi unless time is not your concern.
